3 pin plug to Shaving Adaptor

I've got a Hair Clipper Unit connected to a 3-pin plug. But in my bathroom I have a 2 pin 115V outlet for shaving plugs. Is there an adaptor I can use for my Hair Clipper Unit?
This is the hair clipper I have got: http://wahlglobal.com/europe/wahl/PROFESSIONAL%20SALON%20PRODUCTS/Classic%20SERIES/balding-clipper.html
Much appreciated.

In the fact sheet it states it requires a 230v supply so I don't think you can use it from a shaver socket even with an adaptor. Better to get a rechargable if you want to use it in the bathroom I think.0

Are you sure your shaver socket is only for 115V shavers? This would be unusual in the UK. AFAIK I've only ever seen 115V as an option on a dual-voltage outlet with 230V also available.0

Assuming you have a 230v socket & assuming the clipper is double insulated so it doesn't need an earth then the travel adaptors I use in The States fit in mine. It may not fit in older ones.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

That's correct, a 150v supply is not enough. However I took out the electric toothbrush charger and it revealed a 230V supply.Student loan: Cleared.0 -

Yes, that's right. I've since found the 2-pin 230V outlet, so this may work. There's no rechargeable version of this particular hair clippers.Student loan: Cleared.0 -

Yes, I have discovered the 230V socket. But I don't know if the clipper is double insulated.Student loan: Cleared.0 -
Unless someone has changed it the double insulated symbol is a square within a square, should be on the rating plate. Or if the earth pin of the plug is plastic that's a dead giveaway!principlecounts wrote: »But I don't know if the clipper is double insulated.Tall, dark & handsome. They have them plugs for a reason! To stop people pluging in things they are not supposed to!0

I've had it confirmed by Wahl's the clippers are double insulated. 230V to 230V I think it'll work, but I need more technical advice.Student loan: Cleared.0
