All right, will somebody explain why the Tardis is covered in barnacles? And what is that foul, fishy stench?
Go on, Igor, I am all ears.....You and Chef did what???? Took the Tardis to get some New England lobsters.....got tangled up in lobster nets......left the Tardis on the rocks when the tide came in......slept in the fish gutting sheds until the tide went out and you could get back to the Tardis........
...So that is why dinner was late tonight!
When marmite hears this, she will go ballistic! You had better start prising off the barnacles now, all 3000 of them.....One life - your life - live it!0 -
Yesterday was a spendy day - bought some antihistamine tablets and cream to help combat the gnat bites I keep getting when gardening. £3.50 from Wilkinson.
Today NSD number 3.
Had a mad 24hrs. When we went to bed last night spotted a big wet patch on the ceiling. Hubby then spent every two hours ( incl through the night) emptying a bowl - full of water. Plumber came by 10am and relaced a part ( no charge - plumber had fitted our bathroom only 4 months previously and also fitted a new tank), Worked from home as I was too tired to go to work plus couldn't shower this morning. Then at 11:30 this morning a litre glass bottle of homemade ginger beer exploded - the bottle broke into several pieces and there was sticky ginger beer everywhere. Ended up deep cleaning the kitchen twice before the smell of ginger beer and stickiness disappeared. Hubby kindly re bottled my ginger beer whilst I worked.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Gem-gem what a saga....I hope that the drama is at an end now!

Well I thought yesterday was going to be a spendy day but wasn't (I went to Knit and Natter and didn't have to buy a drink as one was got for me ), then I thought I would be spending today BUT I am waiting in for a phone call so had a can of soup and a roll instead of a pub lunch
This takes me to 6 NSDs and 6 in a row :j:beer:Must use my stash up!0 -
Well, I have another NSD today and that makes a total of 3 with the Chateau Nargle label on them.
Chef is serving Lobster Bisque for lunch, then Chicken Parmiggiana and chips. Only he's using lobster instead of chicken. And Mrs Doyle's fairy cakes for afternoon tea have a suspiciously fishy aroma.
