Igor was trying to sweet talk the voles, hoping to trap one and use it as bait (yikes!) but they went for his ankles.Serves him right.
BTW can Cheffie have back his antique AK47?He sleeps better when it's tucked under his pillow....
I hope you're enjoying your holiday.0 -
Morning all,
I got back from my friends yesterday and am going to report Monday as NSD no 2 for August. I budgeted £30 but came back with £20 so definitely not over budget.
today will be a spend day as need to get paper for paperwork that needs printing but hoping to clock up a few more soon.NST#14/20 -
Yesterday was a total NSD, taking me #3
Today is a spend day. Ordered an exercise DVD just after midnight (missed out when it dropped well below my watch point about a week ago - first time it had ever dropped below twice what I wanted to pay - but it dropped again yesterday afternoon/evening to an even lower price :T).
And I've just sorted out bulk of Christmas pressies for all 4 GDs and DD. DD was trying to scrounge Tesc0 clubc@rd vouchers to exchange for vouchers for entry to Eurek@ later this month - asked for £1, so I don't think she realises they're tied to the account they issued to and she couldn't just use one of my codes to add to hers. She only had enough to get £20 (£1 short for another £10), but entry will be just over £50 for them all. So I've converted £12.50 of my vouchers into £50 for them - but it was on the uderstanding that none of them will have much to open come December. The two youngest (will then be just turned 2 and almost 4) won't understand, but she had a chat with the older 2 (now 10 and 12) who are happy with that.Cheryl0 -

Arrgh! cw has mentioned the C word in August! Quick, unleash the Narglehounds!
(Actually, well done for starting to get some of the spending out of the way so you don't get caught up in the usual seasonal madness)One life - your life - live it!0 -
LOL
I actually started shopping for it back in January (GDs) - then a few more bits in Feb (GDs), and again in March (nephews).
I've been shopping for OH's November birthday since January, and got his niece's birthday present (also for November) in January as well.Cheryl0 -
