Just reporting back on the ebay sim cloner device...
Not had any success I'm afraid. Same thing happens with both sims I've tried - although at first the green light shows on the USB reader, it changes to red, and you get the error message "please check the reader and the sim card". I'm sure I'm putting it in the right way. (There's a little drawing on the reader).
What type of Sims are you using?
I've had a look at similar products and they seem to suggest you want 1st generation sims (or in some cases 2nd generation). Not sure exactly what that means though obviously it will be older sims that work with this.
Both the sims I want to use are at least 4 years old.
Aslo many of these devices only work with PCs and not macs.0
