Are Halifax part of the Lloyds group?
As that's who my 'default' was with and would only imagine that they would reject anyway.0 -

I'd have to agree!0

You need to establish exactly why the case was declined.
Was it because of the default, or because it was not declared?
A default of this date (even within group) would not necessarily be a deal breaker with Halifax subject to the rest of the case.
There should still be options and sure there are 2 sides to every story, but as you understand the next move you make is crucial.
Best if luckI am a Mortgage Broker

It was declared to the broker but only way we'll know is to speak to them tomorrow, I've tried to speak to Halifax direct but can't speak to their broker line until tomorrow.
What would you suggest our next move be?
