Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi All

First extra shift complete. Back in tommorow. Brought home £6.50 in tips. Was allowed to have a delicious sandwich for lunch, chicken and avocado with chilli mayo and salad, and a free soft drink. I chose grapefruit San pellagrino. Would have been £7.50 if I'd had to pay. Plus 2 free coffees whilst I worked. Add another £5 there.

I went to Mr T on the way home and got a few bargains. Including the free pint of milk I mentioned you can claim on Checkoutsmart. So that's 51p coming back from that shop.

So not including my wages today I'm up £19.52 ( found 2p on my way home)

Also NSD 19 of the month.

    Not a bad day!

    Bob

Great day, Bob! And I can't believe how much roadkill you find! I can't remember the last time I found any. I regularly used to find it when walking down to the local postbox. It always made me smile as we used to have a scrap metal truck which would park at the end of our road. The lads who drove it used to spend all day scavenging for scrap metal, then leave coins (including a £1 coin on one occasion) dropped on the road. They park somewhere else now though. Booo!

    Afternoon all :)

Its been a lovely sunny day here and we've certainly made the most of it after a rubbish week of weather :)

 Breakfast was ys crumpets out of the freezer
 Washed one load at 30 degrees and got on the line
 2nd load was white karate kit so washed on 70 degrees instead of 90 degrees
 Out to the local park to play tennis with the kids for free
 I didn't take my purse with me but took fruit shoots for kids and bottle of water for us, my parents meet us there and treated us to a pot of tea & pot of coffee from the little cafe in the park (mum also brought some shortbread from home as a treat too :) )
 Called into Co0p to pick up a free chocolate orange that I had won from there a week ago :)
 Also bought ys crumpets that will go into the freezer for next weekend, some ys garlic flatbreads (used for lunch) and ys new potatoes (again used for lunch)
 lunch at my parents, bit of a mis-mash, egg on 1/2 toasted muffin that my dad got ys last night, then ys garlic flatbread, then a few chicken goujons with mushy peas & ys new potatoes (we are all on a bit of a use up this week!)
 Onto the beach to play boules, quick cricket whilst ds2 built sandcastles and ran in & out of the sea :)
 Rinsed ds2 off with the outside tap at my parents (walking distance from where we'd been on the beach!)
 Got the karate kit out on the line, it might not dry completely but worth a try!
 Now sat watching Pinocchio with the kids off Amazon prime that we are trialling.
 Uploaded 2 receipts onto COS for 1p reward each
 Mine & Dh's tea tonight is going to be using up whatever lo's we have before getting Mr T del tomorrow

Such a lovely day and one we'll all remember for a while and all it cost us was less then £5 in co-op on food :) My kind of day :grinheart

Bob - re COS & Shopit , I have an account in my name and one in DH's both paying into different Current accounts, 2 lots of freebies :)

:grinheart Took the opportunity to spend the day outside as it was lovely and sunny up here in the Frozen North. 5km ParkRun, then 16km hill-walk with OH. Then a 4km fell-run back to the car. OH enjoyed taking some wildlife photos. The best things in life are free!

:grinheart Took a flask up into the hills with us.

    :grinheart Free cupcake after ParkRun.

Foxgloves -thank you. I just seem to spot it everywhere since I started to look. Most often just pennies but have found several £1 coin now and the notes are the absolute best :) how gutting about your scrap van. Boo. But then you do so well on surveys don't you that's like free money too.

Hannah - re the two accounts for cashback, surely you both still end up having to pay out for the items in the first place? I liked your sisters idea on buying 3 seperate lots of bananas to get the 10p per bunch.

Ally - wow you have certainly earned some of that yummy home made bread tonight I think :)

Bob, yes but for instance on shopit, they usually have 25p off milk, in the week I usually buy 3 or 4 4pinters so get cashback on two accounts on something I would be buying anyway. Also on shopit the freebie this week was Tunnocks tea cakes, cost me 81p x 2 receipts but I've got cashback of £1 x 2 accounts = 38p profit. :)

sorry for another post from me but it won't let me edit it for some reason!!

Bob, the only thing is you don't want to be stood in the supermarket queue behind my sister when she's buying stuff for the whole family, as me & dh have the cashback accs as do both my parents and my sis of course! we have been stood at morrisons getting a iced chocolate drink that was a freebie on cos & clicksnap a few weeks ago, putting 10 of these drinks through the till, paying for each one individually (1 each on cos & 1 each on clicksnap!) my credit card statement was veryyyyyy long that month!
