Poor baby Kirsty, I am so sorry to read about her condition. It must feel so terrible for any mum to be trying their best to nourish their child only to see them lose every mouthful. I do hope she continues to improve." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Oh my heart goes out to her. Poor little Angel. Your sister is a star to persevere. Well done you for all your support too. And well done her for getting the help.
House is dragging because one thing and there's nothing I can do about it. Driving me mad.

She seems to be doing really well at the moment - although a tad constipated after the gaviscon. Fingers crossed she gets used to it soon
My sister is doing amazingly well, thank goodness. She's amazing even if she doesn't realise it herself at the moment.

Hi kirtsy,
I've been reading through your diary over the past few days and just wanted to day how brilliantly I think you're doing on your debt free journey (especially with all the ups and downs, and challenges you've faced over the past year or so). Very inspiring stuff. Subscribed and hope that you're doing well xDebt remaining:

Thanks giblet, how lovely that you spent time reading through my odd ramblings, I'm very grateful!
I spent yesterday with my sister and niece - my favourite part of the weekend at the moment, hands down! She's doing so well now that she can keep food down - she's 7lb 6oz
Had counselling with OH tonight - I got a lot off my chest and it actually went really well. We are definitely on the right trackkeeping everything crossed but I'm really happy and feel like we are getting somewhere.
Debt busting is slow going at the moment and I hate it. Between my lack of sick pay and hospital parking charges killing my miscellaneous budget, there is very little allowed for PADding at the moment. Hate seeing the totals stall, but I must try and see the bigger picture....hmmmm. Easier said than done!
I'll do a proper update at some point but wanted to check inxx

So I have been keeping a secret for a few weeks now. Unfortunately not an addition to the family (canine or human!) but instead....
A NEW HOUSE!
I know a lot of people will think I am off my rocker when we have only been here a year but there are very good reasons...we think so anyway :rotfl:- Lack of buying power when a little one makes it's appearance
- we are really struggling with space
- we will get a much better mortgage deal going the route we are going down
To expand one the above
*When I add in a dependant to the mortgage calculators with associated childcare it reduces the amount we can borrow by £48000  which has been bothering me for a while. I know it won't have that much of an impact on what we can pay because I pay more now on debt repayments than the nursery that opened last week would charge for my working hours, my parents have started a 'baby fund' for the start up costs and I am so unbelievably controlled these days when it comes to budgets and spending that I will always make it work, providing OH has a job. However the house is just not big enough to have a family in. I'm sure we could make it work, but I would much rather move while we can.
*Between OHs model car obsession and my love for upcycling furniture we are quickly running out of space
* We can get a 5 year fix at 2.6% using help to buy scheme. Which has it drawbacks but also has its plus points, and I think it would really benefit us. It means we get a forever home for relatively little more than we pay now.
So we have been discussing this between ourselves for a while, and with our families and we decided to go for it.
As of this morning we have an accepted offer on our house and are officially sold subject to contract. As always, there is a lot of nervousness over the sale and buy process but I am beyond thrilled with the house we have chosen. And it doesn't hurt that it's almost finished being built so we have been given a lot of incentives by the builder
So there's my news. I didn't want to jinx it until we were under offer but it's been horrible not saying anything on here - I haven't mentioned it in real life apart from to family and we've stopped people coming round because of the for sale signs :rotfl::j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Wowee! A new build! Check you out!
How exciting! Are you ready for all the solicitors fees? Well done you on all your incentives. They aren't easy to get.
Did you make much on your house with all your improvements?
Is it closer to family? Is it in catchment for good schools?

Hi Kitten, I am so excited!!
We are all set for solicitors fees, hate paying it all out again but I'll be thrilled to get into this house! We made a couple of thousand on the house, so not massive but a big help all the same. It's no closer to family but there are 3 schools it is in catchment for - 1 outstanding and 2 good for ofsted so I'm really pleasedThe bedrooms are a good size - even the small room is big enough to fit in a double bed!
Are you getting any closer to exchange yet? xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
