Thanks both. Feeling a bit brighter today as called NHS direct last night because breathing got much worse. Lovely nurse explained that rather than not being able to breathe, I was stopping myself breathing deeply enough because it's painful to do so. Cue talking me through breathing techniques, which along with inhaler (stolen from my lovely mother
) has helped hugely. Still feeling very sorry for myself and every breath, cough, sneeze or even slight movement is agony but at least I can stop convincing myself I'm dying.
Am soldiering on at work, although not coping very well with stairs. Manage to hide myself away in upstairs office so only have to tackle stairs once, however have had tender clarification meeting today with a client....up 3 flights of stairs  suffice to say I needed a glass of water, a sit down and numerous inhaler puffs before starting. At least it's over with now though, I was stressing I wouldn't be well enough and my boss tends to get distracted by things rather than answering the actual questions so I often have to take over to get back on track. Was with boss and another colleague today and they both went completely off tangent so a very good thing that I didn't miss it :rotfl:
Boss told me earlier that as long as I got through tender interview I could stay at home tomorrow and work from there. Changed his mind 10 mins later but it was a nice thought while it lasted :j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

How gutting is that to be told you can work from home, just to have it snatched from you minutes later grrr. I've had a good day at work today and not much time to feel sorry for myself as I've been that busy. I've got an inhaler too and it works for a while. Hope you feel better soon hun. It seems to be taking some shifting. Have you tried steaming with V1cks or O1bas O1l in it? Doc recommended this and it seems to work. Don't put too much in though, my eyes were streaming lol.

Hi Kirsty. Just checking in to see how you are and to let you know two little knitted hats will be winging their way over to you this week. You will have to let me know how the size is as my mum is ready and waiting to make more lol. I've got to go and pick them up from her tomorrow night so will hopefully post on Wednesday. One for each baby.

I'm feeling much better, still struggling with breathing if I do too much but definitely improved. A good job really as I'm off to the big smoke with work for a few days tomorrow - an exhibition at the excel which I'm really not looking forward to. I'm completely at home in a tender meeting situation and talking about the company itself but I'm not a natural saleswoman so I struggle to generate leads. It's not really part of my job but I organise the events and somehow get dragged into doing them!
Thank you so much TinkI (and the moms and babies) are very grateful, such a lovely thing to do for us
I hope you are feeling better now too, such horrible viruses doing the rounds!
Little niece has been back in hospital as she isn't gaining weight and has been diagnosed with severe reflux. I got a call from my sister yesterday morning and she was in such a state that I jumped in the car and got to hers in a less than recommended timeI just couldn't bear the panic in her voice and her partner was at work and not contactable. Little one was being violently sick after every feed and she was panicked. Ended up back at hospital again and has now been allowed home with gaviscon to try, which has made a difference today thankfully
I got into a bit of an argument / debate with someone on here who was giving very poor advice about asbestos and what to do if it's in your home. Things like that really wind me up - a lot of the asbestos industry is admittedly over-egged. There are certain materials which will just not release fibres, but equally there are some which are very dangerous - people who don't know about the extensive asbestos products within properties and advise people that it's no problem to just get rid of yourself drives me mad  I can't even entertain talking to such idiots but I hate that they feel the need to 'advise' other people and potentially affect the health of a stranger on a forum :j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Glad to hear you're feeling better, and the little one is sorted. If I remember, my friends baby had reflux and it's not nice is it. Mum is made up to be knitting for someone and I might even get my needles out lol. You will have to give us their up to date weights next time they get weighed. and I can send little bits over so they aren't too big/small.
Grr re the argument about asbestos. In my first house there was a garage made out of it and this is at a time before there was so much health and safety about it. We just knocked it down and took it to the tip. This was many years ago!! I know now that you can't just take it to the tip and you have to have specialists to remove it. Think the person obviously doesn't know anyone who had died from asbestosis. I have and it was the most awful time, family friend who had worked for the council years ago without the big health and safety laws. He did manage to sue the council though and got quite a lot of money.
Ok, that's my rant over about it too lol.

It was horredous yesterday, being sick everytime she fed to the point where it was coming out of her nose and affecting her breathing, poor mite. She's still almost at her birthweight because of all her issues (only gained 2 ozs) still in tiny baby clothes and so tiny. I absolutely love her to bits, had a good few hours of cuddles yesterday and I'd have held her all night if she hadn't had to go to hospital (and if my sis would have let me!)
I get told off for getting on my high horse about it but having been in the industry for 10 years I've heard a lot of horror stories and seen a lot of upsetting pictures etc during training sessions. It's such a horrible disease, sorry that you had to watch someone go through it Tink xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Poor little lady and your poor sister. I've never heard of it being so bad with breast milk. Do you think she might be allergic to something your sister eats? Does your sister eat dairy? What does her health visitor say to try?
You'll do great at excel. You know your area and you will get the interest of anyone genuinely suited to the field.
I hope you are going to recover from pleuracy without any rest or sleep.

They think it's partly to do with an underdeveloped stomach muscle and the fact she is a guzzler so she takes too much at a time. Health Visitor sent her to hospital last week because they were worried about her lack of weight gain but hasn't been in touch since. She's on her second day of gaviscon and all seems well, she is much less grizzly and is only throwing up small amounts so fingers crossed they are on the right track
Hope house is going well Kitten and you are on track! x:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
