Right - back in the land of the living!
Wedding was amazing. Tiring, but amazing!
Thursday I had pampering done - threading and nails and spent some time with my beautiful niece
Friday we had an early start leaving mine and getting to my friends and got to the venue at 9.30 after picking up fixings and flowers, the bride and I were on the go all day and finally sat down after 9pm with a glass of fizz and a pizzawe were in bed before 11 - really rock and roll night :rotfl:
Saturday we got up early and had a chill with a cuppa before the hairdresser arrived at 8.30, along with the other 2 bridesmaids, all dressed and ready to leave by 12 - the wedding was at 12.30 only 10 mins away so we ended up driving round and then stopping at a local National Trust park for a few impromptu photos - they turned out beautifully thanks to the wind making us look like popstars in a video :rotfl:
Lovely day, amazing food - lovely speeches. I'm so happy for them, They've been together for 8 years and have the most gorgeous little boy so it was about time
I have overspent though, I got swept away and am very angry with myself. I really need to stop getting over excited about occasions, and just stick to my plans
What's done is done and I'm not going to over stress, but I need to work on my spending triggers - I think it's panic. I worry that I haven't done enough/bought enough/look good enough and then I panic buy - this time was a bracelet, necklace and handbag bought in a mass panic because I couldn't find the ones I wanted at home
Anyway, family are here visiting the niece tonight so I am going over to my parents see them as we don't see them often. Happy days

So after my recent gynae appt I'd asked for an appt with the nurse to remove the coil - didn't quite go to plan so I ended up having it out with the Doctor yesterday.
I have been in absolute agony ever since. At 3AM I was in the bath trying to ease the pain - no joy. I've had no sleep, my tummy is in agony and I just want to cry all day. 2 hot water bottles and a day on the sofa rocking to try and stop the pain has been todays plan. It's no better and now I'm stressing about unpaid days off thanks to my lack of sick payEven my 200mg of tramadol haven't worked, and that's the strongest thing I have so I'm heading back to the bath shortly to try and see if it will ease at all.
Have been trying to catch up on here to take my mind off it but I've been writing this update for over an hour - I just can't cope:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Kirsty, you should contact your GP, as you shouldn't be experiencing such terrible pain, this is not usual after an IUD removal, you would expect some mild cramping but not unbearable pain.0

Oh Kirsty - I feel so much for you. Hope that you're managing ok and that it's eased off a bit now.Not giving up

Thanks all!
I spoke to the GP and nipped down to be examined. Apparently all is ok and one of my support group people said that it could be affecting other organs due to the spasms - the Doc agreed and said that the contractions in my uterus are probably affecting my bowel, so the spasms seem worse.
She did say that if it gets any worse I can head to the walk in centre. It's still sore today, very crampy but the hot water bottles do seem to be helping a bit today. I'm holding off on the tramadol because I end up in a World of my own, and I'm not the only one suffering today so need my wits about me...
I had a call last night from my Mom to say that my niece had been taken into hospital and there is some concern that she has viral meningitis. She's so tiny and now has 2 cannulas in, has had a lumbar puncture and is being kept in the local childrens hospital until the results come in. I want to be with it in case I can go and see her.
