Yay congratulations Kirsty. How lovely. When DD was born I think I had enough clothes to last her first year.
I can't praise Ge0rge clothing enough. It's cheap (but doesn't look cheap) and washes so well.
Hope you've had lovely cuddles now. You will be a fab Auntie and you will get to know all the secrets she won't tell her mum lol.

Thanks both, I'm completely besotted
Went to see them last night and had the whole visiting slot to myself so got to munch her for over an hour and a half. Both sets of grandparents had been there during the day so it was lovely. My sister is doing brilliantly, breastfeeding away like a pro
She has given me a few pointers for if I get my turn....and at the moment is adamant she will be C sectioned if she has another :rotfl: her OH was telling me how horrendous he found it not being able to do anything to help. She's had a few stitches and there were a few complications but they will be allowed home today as everything seems to have settled down.
I've been very good and not bought anything either, small round of applause for myself there
In other news - another gynae appt, another conflicting opinion. This one has decided the coil I have in has exacerbated the PCOS. According to him and my latest scan, he would be surprised if I was even able to release an egg with the state my ovaries are in so that was great news  coil is coming out in 10 days and I'm being put on a version of the pill for 9 months to try and get the cysts under control, after which it will be another operation to flush my tubes, laser any endo scarring and possible ovarian drilling...all sounds lovely
I'm putting that to the back of my mind and concentrating on Ava - all I have to do is think about her or look at the pics and I'm happy again:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Congratulations Kirtsy on becoming an aunty. We became grandparents last year to our first grandchild and she is 1 year old next week. They change so much in the first year so savour every moment you spend with her. Your gynae procedures sound horrendous but I would agree you should get the coil removed. I did not suffer with PCOS but had a coil for quite a few years after having my second daughter and periods were horrendously heavy. Eventually persuaded OH to have the snip
Also 70% of your debt paid off is fantastic. I think you will soon have that cleared. Glad to hear you and your OH are working things out.

Congratulations enthusiasticsaver....my parents are on cloud 9!
I'm already counting down until I can go and see her again
I'm in 2 minds about the coil - the first two years I didn't have any periods at all and it was lovely but it's stopped working anyway so I've got nothing to lose by trying something different.
Getting nearer to my next target which I'm very excited about, I'll be there soon I'm sure

Have you thought about that other coil? The copper coil with no hormones? I don't see how the coil has any impact on pcos. I have been asked a few times to have the coil and the implant to turn down my oestrogen. Other than that I have found metformin works great for me. I'm not a loads of cysts pcos sufferer, I am a cultivator of one gigantic cyst over and over again so I don't know if this applies to you. Other than that perhaps male hormone suppressants? Sorry for such carppy news.
Like you say though you've got a niece now to concentrate on. I think your sister's nuts though saying she'd rather a csection. I've not had one but why anyone would choose one for anything but safety reasons is beyond me. Have you recommended baths with tea tree oil in. Really helps with healing xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Apparently I need a combined hormone treatment kitten. The mirena coil which I have is progesterone based. I'm so confused as some websites recommend the mirena for PCOS but others don't!
He told me that we have spent so long trying to get the endo under control that that is now the least of our worries. I'm really no more sure than I was last week of what is best - I'm determined not to stress though. As far as I see it the coil hasn't been doing its job as my endo pains are worse than ever and I'm having intermittent bleeding so I may as well try having it out and give what they recommend a go. Will see how I get on.
My friend had her baby last night too, so I now have a beautiful niece and a gorgeous honorary nephew! Apparently babies are like buses....
My niece is so small that we can't find hats to fit her - for some reason I can't find anywhere that does tiny baby hats, I've walked round Birmingham today hoping to find some but no joy so I'm going to tell my sister to try online:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

A boy and a girl! Lucky you kirstypoo! Hope you get more cuddles with new little boy soon too!
Could someone knit her a hat?
And "least of your worries"?!?!? Do me a favour. They're so inconsistent you couldn't even make it up. I would really struggle to accept any oestrogen based solution. Mine's 'in my head' though so what do I know. XxxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

I'm so happy you are enjoying these new bundles of joy Kirsty.
I might have a solution for you regarding the hat so I will send you a PM now hun.
