I'm feeling a bit more positive today, probably because my first direct cashback arrived in my account
That's been hustled straight over to the 'waiting for regular saver' account. I've set up a £300 payment to a regular saver per month. Next week will be the 2nd payment and I'm looking forward to seeing it increase
Work has been ok today and I managed a nice £5 PA survey on my lunchbreak. I'm up to £45 with £11 pending on there now so with the money I've already cashed out (£69) that's the wedding present for August and cheap airport hotel for next week paid for, along with a wine at the airportNot very :money: but I hate flying so always have a glass (or 2!) of wine beforehand
I got more burnt on Saturday than I realised and any clothing against the burns is very painful (even a bra ) so I'm wearing loose clothes but everyone can see my lovely burn lines so I've been subjected to much ribbing today....
I'm trying to talk myself out of overpaying OHs CC by another £60 because that's not the plan but it would take the total paid to 70% which would be a nice figure. Must resist!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Have had a bit of an awful day at work - am having some problems with one member of staff in particular and I find it much more difficult to lay the law down with females than males for some reason so it's playing on my mind.
Have managed a £16.50 PA survey today though. Only half finished at the moment but should be completed in the next week so I'm very happy with thatgot £54 confirmed ready to cash out too, so should be a nice little chunk when I cash it out on Monday
It's the nieces baptism this weekend so I'm looking forward to spending time with the family who are descending from Cumbria, Liverpool and a few other corners of the country (and the niece, obviously. She is probably my favourite person on the planet at the moment, she's always so content and happy to see me, it's lovely. I probably am a little obsessed with her)
Have managed to put off paying the £60 to OHs CC but the urge is strong :rotfl::j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Ugh, I really feel for you having to deal with misbehaving staff. I had a similar experience a couple of years ago and it really took over my thoughts both in and outside of work.
What are PA surveys? I've seen these mentioned on a few threads!0 -
It's been on my mind for a few days now but it seems to be getting worse. I have a meeting booked in about it tomorrow which is really stressing me out now!
PA or Prolific Academic - by far my favourite survey site - it's actually completing studies for Universities around the Country and even around the World, it pays quite well (especially some studies, and in comparison to many survey sites)
I've made over £150 in 6 weeks, you can get payouts on circle or paypal (circle is free over £20) and it's interesting. Definitely worth a look!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Hi Kirsty
Sorry to hear about the issues at work. I'm all about female empowerment. However I had two of the most hideous female superiors in two different jobs and comments made by one haunt me still. I don't know why but there is a certain kind of women who just loves to get high by making everyone else low. Not what it's all about.
I can imagine how upsetting it must be knowing your sister is trying again too. And I hope I won't upset you by saying, that you may just feel it's your turn now not hers. How old are we! But still. I think that's how I would feel anyway.
I'm so glad you are making your plans too anyway for next year.

Hi Bob,
I think that's part of my problem - I had a terrible female boss a few years ago who really knocked my confidence and I don't want to be that person, so I am too soft because I'm worrying about upsetting the ladies in the office. The men have thick skin and argue back so I don't have that issue with them but in this case I need to be harsh, I have had 4 complaints about the persons attitude and they constantly try to undermine my position. A bit of a power struggle really, which isn't much fun!
I think that's exactly how I feel, which makes me feel like a spoilt brat. I want the chance to have my time, not just being pregnant but enjoying the closeness that my sister has developed even more with my parents since she got pregnant, I think I'm a bit put out that I live furthest away so if it were to happen that we both have newborns at the same time, she is not only closer but will have 2 to look after so will need their help more and I'd like them to be around for me and my little one if it happens too. Very selfish and I'm trying not to feel like thathow ridiculous. I'm 31!
I'm so looking forward to getting away next week. I treated myself to a new tankini from amazon with some of my survey vouchers and I love itI can't wait to see OHs face when we rock up at the airport, I have a feeling he thinks we are going to Cornwall for a few days (which I would love also, but the lure of the sun and gaudy cocktails was too much :rotfl:)

Thank you Kirsty, I will register for that site now! I used to get lots through MySurvey but its gone very quiet over the last few weeks so I need another one.
I hope all goes well with the meeting, I've got my fingers crossed for you.0 -
Not ridiculous at all. Totally get that.
I hope the look on your OHs face will be amazing when he realises :rotfl:" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

The nieces christening was today, a lovely day but it has been a busy few days - we have had family to stay yesterday and there was lots of cleaning and bed making to be done, around acupuncture and OH getting his hair and beard trimmed.
OH is currently sulking that he had to drive today (it was my turn yesterday so he had quite a few drinks at a family dinner) and I had 3 glasses of wine. Much needed!
Will do a proper update over the next few days, just wanted to check in!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
