Thank you CCL and Jessy
She's not doing as well today - she's very sore and feeling very sorry for herself. There are all sorts of things she's not allowed to do either - one of which is pick up the niece so she's very upset about that as niece adores her Nannie and won't understand why she can't have cuddles like she normally does.
OHs best friend arrived last night as we are going to see the NZ rock band again tonight - I can't believe it but they are playing in our town at a local well known rock pub so we are looking forward to that. Hopefully the best friend is only here for a few days as he is back at work on Saturday I think.
I've got another acupuncture session on Saturday and then I won't be able to go for a few weeks as we have a lot going on over weekends - day out at a food festival for a friends birthday, the nieces christening the following weekend then our trip then OHs birthday party. Busy time!! Not too much spending going on though thankfully - although I say that and it doesn't always go to plan. I feel like I have dropped the ball a bit now I'm so close to the end, not that I'm not making debt repayments, it's just more likely to go to the mortgage than the credit card at the moment. That's a much bigger amount to get rid of!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Wow I am rubbish at updating!
Last wednesday I looked after my niece and my mom for the day - and I'm not sure who was the worse behaved :rotfl: My mom doesn't do what she's told so whilst I was making nieces dinner and milk she kept picking her up  she's only going to hurt herself but she won't listen!
We went to see the rock band last Tuesday which was fab as always. They were playing at such a small venue that it was a bit of a sweat box by halfway through their set but it was enjoyable all the same. My dad came (his ticket was his fathers day present) and he enjoyed it too.
We have decided to get our patio done. We have the money in savings but it is ear marked for the NZ flights. Flights are currently on a 0% card for 29 months so will be paid off in half that anyway but we are going to use some of the flight money to get the patio done. It's so lovely at the moment and we just have a mud pit so it's been thought out and planned. We aren't going for the most expensive slabs or anything silly like that, and a guy I work with will be doing it for us at mates rates so less than we had expected. Emergency fund will still be intact, along with almost half of the flight money so it's not dire straits. Decision made and I'm looking forward to having a garden we can use
Sister and her OH completed on their house 10 days ago so there has been a lot of painting/wallpapering/building flatpack etc for them and my Dad but luckily for us we live a bit away so haven't been roped in too much :rotfl:
'Spare' monies this month have been earmarked for our trip and for the NZ fund which is building nicely so any CC OPs will be from survey earnings etc. I like a challenge! Although I'm reluctant to part with PA money - I have over £60 sat in my circle account with another £22 ready to cash out but I don't want to
I think that's a nice round up for last week so I'll endeavour to get back on this week and be better at updating!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Had a few issues at work last night and today with some staff thinking they can pick and choose which work they want to do  HR takes up so much of my time when they misbehave (and it makes me feel like their bl**dy mother!) What 50 year old carpenter needs a 31 year old with very little site experience to tell them how to do a job they have been doing for 25 years?!
Have been struggling to sleep for the past few nights but last night was the worst - had fan on, both bedroom windows open and I slept with a wet towel on me but even though it was cooler, I had an awful sleep which has made me quite irritable today
Still feeling quite reluctant to cashout on PA - if I can get another £4 clear I will be over £100 in 5 weeks
Still haven't ordered the patio stuff, still looking at slab colours. We are so decisive with some things and so indecisive with others.... need to work on this. Usually we can't even agree what we want to eat if we have a treat meal, drives us both mad.
Feeling a bit down about the whole baby issue this week. My acupuncturist is lovely and keeps telling me that she's very positive it will work but I'm getting less and less sure. I was so positive when we first started trying - convinced myself it would happen naturally, very quickly and I wouldn't need help. 10 months, 2 medications and a fortune on acupuncture later and I'm feeling less positive:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
