Hudl 2?

  • OK, so I'm now huddled around my new Hudl :p

I got the Bluetooth keyboard (reduced by £10, which almost covered the cost of a 32GB micro SD card  ), and I'm now looking for a Bluetooth mouse.

Question. Will any Bluetooth mouse do?

THIS ONE says "for PC Laptop", but later it says "The mouse is compatible with Bluetooth-enabled laptops, Ultrabook PCs, and tablets without taking up a valuable USB port."

So, is it suitable for a Hudl2, or not?

It will most likely work. As Bluetooth is a standard and mice/keyboards are very standard and basic pretty much any basic Bluetooth peripheral such as a mouse or keyboard will just work. Android has built in keyboard and mouse drivers.

A Bluetooth keyboard/mouse is less likely to say that it works with an Android tablet as most aren't used with them so the manufacturers won't bother testing that combination.
  • Cheers for that wongataa, but, just to be certain, I found one listed as suitable for Android tablets.

It's even a quid or so cheaper too.
  • One more question, if I may.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a card reader, that will plug into my Hudl, that will take full size SD Cards?

    That looks perfect.

    Thanks.
  • At the moment, we are having a little trouble navigating it

OK, had it a fortnight, and can't say I'm struggling much.

    It seems fairly intuitive.

BTW. Anyone fitted a screen protector?

If not, my advice is DON'T.

I fitted one, and the touchscreen wouldn't respond.

Good job the screen protectors are only cheap. :)
  • My bluetooth mouse arrived, and it paired no problem.

    Works fine.
  • Does anyone know if it's possible, to turn off the touch screen keyboard?
