I work in hotels, and there is no way I would want to see these in bathrooms - either at work on on my travels. Revolting. It is pretty easy to clean a toilet after yourself.....(and not leave it for the housekeeper..)

All toilets in hotels in South East Asia have a hose attachment right by the throne. That does away with the need for toilet paper, and also cleans away anything that a flush leaves behind.

    For use by Muslims.
It's your money. Except if it's the governments.

I dont think most hotel rooms have them. At home i just pour some bleach directly into the cistern and when it has mixed, flush and then you can be sure all areas have been done..
Where do you get bleach if you staying in a hotel?

So you want me to wrap loo roll round my hand & use that?, or fill the loo with loo roll beforehand, really!!. & By the way I dont leave the brush "Dirty", I wash it when flushing, & If its not clean, wait & flush again.

I'll be happy to post you one with a carry case and you can take it to every hotel you visit thus solving your problem, Let me know if you would like one.

I would rather not have one in my hotel room. Could be alsorts on it. much better for the maid to come in and use one then take it out with them. I don't use a toilet brush daily at home, so the maid service in a hotel is better cleaning than normal!
So if you (or anyone else in you room) "Makes a mess", its stays for all to see until the "Maid" next comes in?

All hotel rooms initially have a toilet brush, problem is punters keep stealing them and putting them in their luggage to take home.

.... yes. You do wash your hands after you use the bathroom don't you? If your hand is wrapped in loo roll, your hands never come directly in contact with the poo. If you're leaving massive skidmarks down the toilet under the water, then maybe consider putting down a layer of loo roll before you open the gates.

And yes the brush is still dirty if you're just washing it with clean water from the cistern. Clean water will not get rid of the germs, only wash away the visible poo. I do not want to sit next to a germy brush on my visit to a hotel because people think that 'washing' a brush with just water is acceptable.
