Done an hour or so of ironing tonight and our snug looks lovely with new cushions and light shades. Just need to clear some of the cr*p and put up some pictures and that room will look quite presentable. I also bought an over the door coat hook today so I have been able to pick all the coats up from the floor and hang them up. Had a quick whiz round in the study so I can actually see the floor now! Was going to arrange a play date for tomorrow afternoon but I think I will come straight home after holiday club so can have the afternoon to get on top f things. One of the reasons we never get anything done is we spend more time out of the house than in it!

This is the spillover list for tomorrow!

Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Sweep and mop floors
Empty fridge, clean shelves and doors and move any nearly out of date stuff to front to use up next bit tricky to do as it is so full!

    Extra Mission : help yourself
BATHROOM!!! i just keep putting it of! I must, must, must do it tomorrow afternoon!

Evening all, well didn't do any flying today I'm afraid. Hubby is home this week and I'm feeling even more fraught than usual. Although it didn't help that I have been shopping in Pets@home for dog pads for my elderly dog. It was going to be puppy pads but someone in Morrisons told me that they were carpe so had to go to to Pets@home to get special dog pads for elderly incontinent dogs.. Blimey £25.00 later and hubby picking me off the floor I had to do a various wander around the shops to get other things.

Fingers crossed that this will work for Bear..it's only little dribbles when he's asleep or lying down..but I've had to wash so much of our bedding in the past week it's unbelievable and I just want to have my bed back with nice smelling and clean bedding.. In the next couple of days we have a "belly band" coming for Bear too, which you have to put a tena type pad in and it goes around their waist.. I hope he takes to it.. :D If he doesn't then I'm lost to what to do..

Honey Bear so glad your booby squashy was all clear :D

I'm going to have an earlyish night tonight as I have group tomorrow plus I'm exhausted.

    Hugs and spoons to everyone..

  • Evening all,

Natty just trying to picture the belly band, may have to google to satisfy my curiosity! Hope Besr is ok.
Today was going swimmingly until the afternoon dog walk, (with children in tow so it takes twice as long to cover the same ground). We were up at the local 'crag' walking downhill and dd2 tripped, went head over heels and down between two rocks head first, bashing her head on the way down. She is ok, thankfully, superficial grazes and bumps, but it was awful to see and I am beating myself up about it now because I should have been holding her hand over the rock bits. She is only five and thinks she can leap about like her sister.
Anyway, three hours in a&e not only cut short the flying, but messed up my diet as the only food that seemed to be available was crisps and chocolate.

    Done:
    Daily stuff except kitchen floor
    Tidied weeds up
Cleaned canisters, spice jar, cookery books and shelf
    Cleaned kitchen tiles and tap
    Re oiled table
    Cleaned dining chairs

    See you all later x

I started the day with quite a long list (not just the one below) and have managed a fair bit.
Tomorrow I'm going to fly at work - pretty much all the time when DS2 is in school - so I'm not sure how much I'll get done at home.

Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
HHC clearing and cleaning - done some
    [STRIKE]sort through fridge[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]HHC clearing DR table[/STRIKE]

    Extra Mission
    [STRIKE]29 fling boogie.. GO![/STRIKE]
Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET
    [STRIKE]Trip to LIDL after work[/STRIKE]

    Trashy Tuesday - Bathroom
    Sweep floor
    Clean bath, toilet and sink
    Delete 50 emails
Empty and clean out all the bathroom bin
    Collect all the dirty laundry

Biscuit Monster sorry your dd fell but glad she is ok x

Ds2 has been writing his birthday list. He wants a skylander elemental light pack. They should be £25 but they seem to be hard to find in stock so prices are going crazy.

DH is off for 3 days. He started painting the shed today but got rained on :(

I have pottered around with dailies and paperwork.

I made the largest frog phonecall ever so am expecting fall out from that.

Suppose I should head off up the apple & pears. Night night x

OK - day one of the flying routine complete and I achieved quite a bit...
Cleared and wiped kitchen surfaces, doors, kickboards and hob top.
    Washed all knick-knacks and canisters
Swept and mopped floor (twice, after puppies tore through when they'd finished digging in the garden)
Emptied fridge, cleaned shelves and doors.
Wiped dining table and six chairs.
Flicked a duster over the dresser and window sill, polished mirror.
    Cleaned kettle, toaster and microwave.
Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters cleaned and DW run on hot with a cleaning "doubrie" in it.
Wiped down the tiles and cleaned sink and tap.
Did lots more but not 'room-doesn't so not listing.

    Very tired now...

CY - great to see you posting
HB - great news re your boob squash

Well - if anyone was watching the golf you have a good idea of the summer weather we have been having here for weeks and weeks. 'Nuff said :(

I also managed to clean the microwave and the micro/oven. The first came up pristine but the second not. Is it bicarb that's meant to shift cooked on stuff and how do I do it ? I really would like to get it clean again :o

I've been online and sorted all the bank monies - shifting things around as necessary. Also finished all the accounts up to end of June, so hoping to get back to doing some more RoD this week if I can make the time.

Tomorrow I am having my nails shellacked and Wednesday is hair-mincing. Hoping to look better for Saturday as DH and I are going out for dinner at the local Italian for his birthday, which is in fact Sunday but he has early shift Monday so early bed Sunday. He already has his present as he saw a ring he liked a few weeks ago and so I bought it for him. Not much point in buying without trying so he's been wearing it ever since :D So just have to get a card.

  • Morning everyone - up early to check the damage before official weigh in this morning - phew I should be OK!! Love this 3lbs either way when at target as it it is so forgiving!!

Have sent a few emails already and finished advising DH of my gnome of Zurich antics yesterday! He won't remember. Need to get round to writing my doom statement just in case - when I have finished sorting paperwork that is!!

Off to do more of that now as was on a roll yesterday. Will do the lists when I come back as having long walk with D sis after weigh in.

Hugs sticks and spoons for everyone.

Please try not to overdo it in your first week Dizzy Imp - hope you felt a slight glow of satisfaction as well as being tired last night?

Hope DD feeling OK this morning Biscuit M.

    Have a good day. x
