    Flying in.

Any washing advice for my colleague who has manky cricket whites to try to return to whiteness - currently decorated in cricket ball red, grass green, and dubious browns.

Will probably also be used on son's (used to be) white polo shirt (whatever school puts five year olds in white tops?)

I bung in WM on a 40 cotton (long cycle) with aldi bio powder and a scoop of the V stuff from the pink tub. Works for me. Every now and again I'll bung them through on a 60 (not jumpers though)

Dusty, did your DS2 stop a cricket ball with his finger? Ouch!

Yes, but took the catch, so all is well.

DizzyImp as a special favour for me could you make that GP appointment asap?

I have tried for today but no spare appointments. I've been asked to call first thing in the morning to get an urgent consultation. Been asked by several ladies to make the call, so reporting back as requested. Had lumps before but always been benign, so hoping this will be the same :)

Thanks again for the thread and all the kind words and thoughts.

Nausea is improving, but I am as weak as a kitten. No danger of me overdoing today.
In which case, here's a virtual cuppa and a "kittie-treat" of your choice.:coffee: (For those who don't know me yet, I often tell my DH "Well done, have a dog biscuit" if he's done something helpful).:D

Managed to get the lounge and bedroom all dusted; rather annoyingly the bulb in my bedside lamp has blown, and we don't have any spares with a narrow Edison screw fitting.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Gentle hugs CY very glad to hear you are taking it easy - you are officially on garden leave until fully recovered!

    Frodders Happy birthday!
Mrs MP Happy birthday and happy anniversary!
only pink welcome to the family :D

Grey and blustery here - just got home from paid stuff. Must shut windows that are locked open that tiny amount - feels chilly :(

Need to make tea then I said I'd go to SW early and help with weigh-in (urgh, not looking forward to mine though...). Kids are still at swimming lessons, and MIL is staying as childcare for tomorrow.

Suppose I ought to start on the list...

Happy birthday to Froddy and Mrs MP,

After my busy morning flying I had a nice lunch out with 2 good friends. I also took a trip to DS3's new senior school to get some uniform sports kit from the nearly new. Very helpful lady was fabulous. He has tried it on and it fits so that's saved me lots of pennies.

DH has lost his reading glasses. The ones I bought him after he lost the 3 previous pairs. The fact he can't read probable explains why the cricket manager rang panicked at 6.05. DS3 was supposed to be 15 minutes away playing in a match. I've never seen them move so fast! DH missed the email. I'm a bit peeved as I can't go to Zumba now :-(

Fortunately DS3's cricket whites were dry on the line following a cricket festival yesterday (they won). My getting on top of the washing strategy is working!

    Hi all x

CY great to see you posting x take it easy pal x

What a day, work wasn't too busy so I gutted the cafe kitchen in between feeding the customers and doing the washing up. Came home fed the minions and washed up. I feel absolutely drained today. Just decluttering a cup of cabbage water and then I'm getting into my jammies. I will do catch up in my own kitchen tomorrow.
