returning duplicate items

Who knows... How would the courier have my goods & details if they didn't give them to them.
I work in a city centre. To use the central post office would wipe my lunchtime out.
I am not being awkward. I have been honest and have the item waiting for their courier. After all if its the couriers fault they can put it right
How can it be the courier's fault? The sender would have had to had given the parcel and then told them to deliver the package. Sounds to me as they are trying to pass the buck.
Have you been charged for the duplicated item?0 -

No.. I paid via PayPal.
Once I have sorted this out I will deactivate my account. I am trying to play fair with them but am not going out of my way to correct their mistake.0 -

Personally, I would contact them to tell them to get their courier to collect and just wait until they confirm. Don't bother doing anything else.0 -

That's what I think I will do.0 -
Is the 2nd beauty box something that you would ever use? (either for yourself or as a present).
If you think that it might be, you could always contact the seller and ask if they would consider selling it to you at a discount. If it saves them the bother and expense of arranging for it to be collected, they might well agree to your proposal and if they offer it you at a good discount, it would be a win, win situation for all concerned.0 -
I would just go the PO and send it back and get reimbursed...sometimes it's just nice to be nice and to just go out of your way to do something for nothing.0

But it isn't for nothing, it will cost the OP money.
This company has tried to blame the couriers for their own mistakes, hardly worthy of much consideration, are they.0 -

Easy:How can it be the courier's fault?
The courier may store the goods at their own premises and receive daily lists/ delivery instructions. We used to offer his service when we ran a light haulage/ courier service. If you don't keep on top of the paperwork, it can all go wrong . . .

Not even Amazon practices this. This company is far too small for any kind of facility like that at a courier the size of Hermes.
If the distribution is outsourced, it will be done by one of the fulfilment houses, not by the courier.0 -
But YOU don't know who's mistake it was, you're just guessing. This company has tried to blame the couriers for their own mistakes0
