Up to £121.44 which I'm really pleased with.

My parents are visiting this weekend and although we will need a few extra bits and pieces for when they are here, they are taking us out for dinner on Saturday which helps with the budget.

I'm going to ask a silly question now: when you all mention NSD, is this not spending on anything, or just no spends out of your grocery budget or unnecessary spends?

I call it a NSD if I don't spend any GC money.

Final shop for August done today bringing my total for the month to £172.39/£250:j; so a few more £s to add to spending money for my holiday.

Also 17/20 NSDs so not got to my target but off on holiday tomorrow so they'll be no more GC spending so in theory I will be at 20/20 by end of month;).

Not taking part in September's challenge as away for a few weeks.

Well done on coming under on your budget and hitting your NSD.

Hope you have a fabulous holiday and come back refreshed :D

The only 'silly' question on here is the one you don't ask :rotfl:

I've had nsds all this week except Tuesday, when I spent a whopping 65p!! I count my nsds as grocery too, as I call it a fiscal fast when I spend nothing at all.

Out for dinner tonight, with bf and his mum. Think I'll have to pay, as it's my turn! Only the Toby though, so not as bad as it could be!!

Have a great Friday - keep your smiles wide and your purses closed!

Picked up the beef skirt today from butchers - getting on for 4lb in weigh and also brought a large rolled breast of lamb which have not seen for ages. The beef has been diced and portioned up and the lamb was cut into 2 and re-rolled. Not sure what doing with the lamb as yet but it will get used.
Also got some brawn, cabbage, strawberry's, plums, nectarines, bananas, bread and cream today so have now spent £240.78 I have included the cost of a paper which I will pick up tomorrow. I forgot to get crackers but will do so when I get the paper not sure how much they are yet. Around 30p I think.
    £9.22 left at present.
PennyGrabber we are going to a Toby on Tuesday with the grandchildren but for the breakfast menu. Usually go for the carvery at lunch time so this will be new to us.

Billie-Jo - the breakfast is amazing!! I especially like the potato hash they do. Mm... Have fun!!

Spent today at leedle, wanted to treat myself, because I'm missing the children. Spent £11 something or other, which will feed me while I'm doing my homework while the children are away :(.
