Hi all!
I am really pleased with how I've done this month. Usually during the summer holidays I go a bit mad with my spending on the GC, but with one shop still to go, I've spent less than £50!
It's helped that my mindset has changed. I used to be a stocker-upper, but now I only buy what I need, with the exception of a few staples which I allow myself to stock up on (when they're on offer!!).
Nsd today, not sure what's for dinner yet! Probably sausages, cheesy mash and beans...

It was sausage cheesy mash and beans! Fruit for pudding.
Tomorrow we'll have pasta bake, I expect, as I have some bits that need to be used up...

Well my last food shop was going well until I hit the meat counter and below both the budget and the meal plan - whoops!
Total spend was £38.53 which takes my monthly spend to £126.72 of the £150 target. One more shop to go, so aiming to spend no more than £23.27, but I do have a £5 voucher to cheat with!

Final shop for August done today bringing my total for the month to £172.39/£250:j; so a few more £s to add to spending money for my holiday.
Also 17/20 NSDs so not got to my target but off on holiday tomorrow so they'll be no more GC spending so in theory I will be at 20/20 by end of month;).
Not taking part in September's challenge as away for a few weeks.

Spends now up to £210.68 will need bread, fruit and veg either tomorrow or at the weekend.
I also have to pick up some shin beef from the butchers which is ordered not sure how much that will be. We love shin beef but local butcher doesn't seem to have it often.
Good luck for last few days everyone.MARCH £62.38/2500
