Hi MT. So glad to hear about the job being safer now and you sound in a much better place. I've been a bit awol as I've been a bit down with this move dragging on but today I got my provisional offer of the flat so I'm really hoping the move could be next week.
Still trying to catch up with diaries and I've got my budget up to date.
Take care.

Hi MT
I hope your day has been good? You were off to the theatre so it should be!
Forget Lemsip and go for a hot toddy, much nicer!
The day here has not been great! I know you are great at financial advice;) so please pop over to my thread and look at my current situation and give me some advice. I tried cutting and pasting to here, but that wouldn't work...
On the positive side I've had a NSD as long as I don't crack and go outside for chocolate...

Hello DIA,
My day was ok. I've not felt great today and had a deadline to meet on a horrible application, but the day is almost done!
I'll pop across to your diary now.
Don't crack! Stay in the warm and let the chocolate come to you!

Regular Savings still hiding! I'm not keen on that now as it's a nice amount and I liked seeing it sitting there. I'm really hoping it appears again tomorrow so that I can send it off to work.
I'm still happy with my decision on where to allocate it to, so that's a definite. I'll sort that out on Monday as I'm sure it'll be available then and regular savers just take their monthly amount on the date they're set up.
The theatre last night was lovely. Mainly because of the friends I went with, but the show was very funny. This particular cast have another show starting in March so we've booked to go to that one too as the tickets were a good price! So that's paid for and YNAB all readjusted to allow for that.
Pay day tomorrow. YAY!!! I'm excited mainly becasue then my totals will all add up correctly in YNAB as, right now, I'm in minus for my exact salary amount.
I'd like to leave here soon as this bug is hanging around. It's not coming out completely so I think that with a good night's sleep I should be able to fight it off.
Wooh to the end of the working week being upon us!!!

A mixed bag today. I'm very happy because my Regular Saver amount has been deposited into my e-Saver now, so looking very healthy. I'm feeling a touch impatient to distribute the money around.
I've been fighting off a cold or chest infection or something along those lines. I decided yesterday to go straight home and off to bed to try to sleep it off, but there was such bad traffic that it took me over 4 hours, most of that standing waiting in the cold, to get home. By the time I got in I was chilled to the bone and feeling very much worse for wear. Today I've woken up really croaky and feeling a bit sorry for myself. I could do without the radio (I'm going to sound like an obscene phone caller!) but I have my trainee in, so I'll be there.
However, I'm also thankful that the only bad thing going on in my life right now is a silly niggly bug in my system.
I found 2 more apps helping me increase my SB's, so have downloaded those and they're currently playing. I'm determined to get as many vouchers free for gifts this year.
I've been paid too!!! YNAB is up to date with a 0 balance!!! AND I have relaxing chill out music playing in the background! I just have time for a quick bath with lots of tea tree oil before I need to head out. Have a fantastic Friday everyone! MTxx0 -

This weekend has been pretty quiet as I've not felt great. I was meant to be meeting a friend in London on Saturday but just didn't feel up to going out all day. So I cancelled and stayed home in the warm. I did the same thing yesterday and today is looking no different.
I have updated YNAB and amended my Nationwide account to the FlexDirect for their 5% interest rate on up to £2,500 balances so my regular saver money is still earning well.
I've also purchased the yearly subscription of YNAB as it's just such a great tool for me and I believe it saves me more than it costs.
I've kept up with the SB apps and my points are creeping up nicely. I'm not great with the surveys etc, but having an app running in the background while I get on with other things works perfectly for me.
Happy February everyone! MTxx0
