I had the same problem when entering the codes, I always got a blank screen. The key is NOT to be logged into your Argos account. put your items into the basket without logging in, then proceed to checkout, its a pain because you then have to fill your details in.hopefuly at the end the discounts should then be deducted. Hope this helps

Thanks for your advice, I was getting seriously frustrated as I got the codes for free delivery over £50 (AFD10) and 20% off sports goods (SPORT20) to work - then remembered to go through Quidco. When I went back the process needed to be done again. Whilst doing this, I logged in. After that, no matter how many times I tried, and despite trying on 2 different computers, I couldn't get codes to work.

I then logged out and went through the system as a totally new customer and it worked straight away. So I had £11 discount and free delivery - very worthwhile!!!

I was starting to think I needed to go collect the punchbag I was ordering as I needed it myself!!!!! :D
  • hi, just come across this website it is great...not sure if this is the right place to post this, but i have been trying to place an order with argos the VAT reduction is showing in the basket, but when it comes to pay it reverts to the full price ?? has anyone else had this problem?? the free delivery code worked [AFD10]
  • Just recieved this code, hope it useful to someone

    EFD10 - free delivery on orders over £50 : valid until 9th December 2008

Also a £5 voucher if spending over £50 expires 7th December 2008. So anyone ordering £55 worth of stuff will get a £5 voucher plus free delivery.
  • Many thanks to the poster above AND the first post on the thread...

I had already saved the delivery charge from the code above, and placed/paid for my order. Then i found the triple nectar points link so i have rung argos, cancelled the order and am just about to re-order with the free delivery AND triple nectar points. Not bad on £400 worth of stuff!

PLEASE, double check that they have cancelled the first order..I ordered something from them and called less than an hour later to cancel it..they said it had but the item still arrived......I rang them up and complained and they said that it must have been too late to cancel it [even though I had a cancelled order acknowledgement email] !!!!
  • Just used it and saved myself the P&P on my Xmas presents!:money:

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
From Friday 12th December until Tuesday 16th December, customers spending over £50 on home delivery orders (excluding delivery charge), will receive money off their orders by entering the promotional code XMASDISCOUNT
    * Get £5 off your order when you spend over £50, when using the code XMASDISCOUNT
    * Get £10 off your order when you spend over £100, when using the code XMASDISCOUNT

While this offer is only valid on home delivery, it can be used with all other promotional codes currently available on the site. That means that on a spend over £50 customers can receive a £5 discount and free delivery (free delivery code AFD10).
  • Thankyou for these codes!!!
I was just entering my card details when I remembered that there are promotional codes on here. My items were quite expensive, Fridge Freezer and a dining table and chair set, totalling at almost £300! and managed to get £15 off using the promotional codes.

I used the £10 off XMASDISCOUNT
and the AFD10 for orders over £50 to get free delivery

Thank you again! Saved me a bit out of our furniture fund for our new house!
    Lucy :)
  • I'm having problems with my codes.

I don't seem to be able to use the £5 off £50 with the free delivery code, and it seems that if I want to use my e-vouchers (£10 and £5) it won't let me have the £5 off or the free delivery!

Is this normal? Can't you use e-vouchers with promo codes?

    Thanks in advance,
    Hushy

You should be able to use both but if your £5 off voucher takes the total before p&p to less than £50 then you won't be able to get the free delivery.
I got caught out with this - very frustrating:mad:
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o
