Any O2 cashback deals?

Cool

Is 6,8,10,12 stated on their website anywhere, or is it in the email that gets sent post shipping, or is it from my example about phoneboxdirect?
I'm grateful for your concern, and I've not made my mind up about what to get or where (I'm just sticking with this topic for now) ... but if we get this sorted and planned out why shouldn't these match cashback's be safe? If I know what I'm getting in to for claim bills & dates then I'm happy I'll be able to meet them, if TPS\e2save\jimblogsphones screw me over by changing terms then I'm happy to sue them. What these guys do have in their favour is the stability of being owned by the CPW so less likely to go pop without anyone to claim against that jimblogsphones.0 -
If thats the case then you should be OK. And yes these guys being part of CPW has a big advantage - I only get deals of those that also have a presence on the high street; I have had 2 deals from the Link.
But sure if you can sit down and meticulously read through the T&C's you should be OK.0 -
... and having just found (and got part way through) the virgin e2save claim thread the main complaint\annoyance\concern with e2save is the multiple definiton of the term "3rd monthly bill" (of whichever thy bill) as 1) the 3rd paper statement that arrives ... WRONG, or w) the paper statement that arrives in the 3rd month (being the second paper statement) RIGHT ?
Just for my peace of mind, where are you quoting the 6,8,10,12 claim dates from please?
Cheers, Duncan (I've even pressed the thanks button, must be your subliminal sig

My bro got a contract from onestop about 6 months ago. His is 6, 8, 10, 12.
And also if you tell the cashback calculator (on e2save) you purchased your phone in 08/2007 it says months 6, 8, 10, 12.
But good luck with you cashback claim.
I for one have a contract with O2, 3 and Orange. So I can get upgrades rather than have to get cashback deals, the rest of the networks don't have any cashback deals (well not from reliable suppliers) so I think I am in a good position. I do however want to move to T-Mob, I like the flext tariff, even if they are stingy as hell.0 -
More digging - if you click on the special offer portion of the tarrif under the phones on the e2save, onestopphoneshop, and thephonespot pages you'll see the special cashback terms. These are not 6,8,10,12 at the moment, they are 120 days, 180, 240, 300, and 360 days (which I find much more useful) - essentially the bill that arrives in month 6 (5th bill), 8 (7th bill), 9, 10, and 12.

OMG, they keep on changing them. Thank goodness I got my contract settled before they brought out price match! I only need to send in 4, 8 and 12. And since this is and upgrade I have no time limit!0

Since my lengthy warning people on here simply seem to be missing the point. Some of you are obviously on pre/non "pricematch" T&Cs and whichever T&Cs apply to you it is rule number one that you find them out and understand them when you place your order and not sometime later. There is an abundance of specific information and help on the various T&Cs on this site. HOWEVER, my main point which people still haven't grasped is that you can follow the so called "pricematch" T&Cs to the letter and have your claims refused illegitimately BECAUSE the companies themselves are following very different T&Cs which 98% of the people with these deals are totally unaware of. Once more I can only emphasise whatever your experiences with T&Cs with CPW companies in the past things are very different now. Any one being seduced by these deals believing they understand the (basically clear and specific) T&Cs are being severely mislead. As I said previously the companies will not have a leg to stand on in a court of law but that may be the only way people might see their cashback when many of them have fallen foul of the actual and hidden T&Cs the companies are using.0

This is precisely why I will now not budge from CPW. I had previously got deals from both e2save and OSPS but since the new dodgy deals, I would not touch them - and this is coming from a person who has not lost a single cashback yet! a total of 3 successful contracts (plus an upgrade!), and not had any major problems.
This reminds me of the Natwest advert 'we put a big fat juicy worm on the hook...'.
I think it's Nationwide.. although maybe the advert is supposed to portray Natwest0 -
Yep it was the nationwide. Talk about pot, kettle and black!0
