why do no fried chicken shop manage to make chicken like kfc?

    Does the short lifespan improve the flavour then?

    I'm certainly a KFC fan athough I try and not have it too much. No other chicken shops come close in my opinion.

    Haha I love this phrase. Especially when you stop to think about what KFC food is.... processed food coated in oil and fatty crap.

    I'm not knocking it per se, because I enjoy the occasional KFC myself, but there is nothing "gold standard" about KFC. NOTHING. It is like comparing turds, only that KFC are top turd.

    You want "gold standard" chicken? Then grab some raw chicken breasts, a bit of lemon juice, some spice and maybe a tiny bit of oil (but the lemon juice works well as oil at low heat). Fry for 20 minutes on low heat and you have chicken which is 100000x tastier than KFC!

    I used to love KFC when I was younger but just the thought of it turns my stomach now. So much grease! I used to have to wash my hands about three times to get the smell off them _pale_
