Slow year

Definitely a slow year for me. Only 4 wins under my belt this year. But you got to be in it to win and so keep plugging away
Good luck for 2026 Comping! Be lucky! My February 2026 Wins: Guinness book of records books (web),0 -
Yes this year has been super slow for me too. Feb was good and I won some stuff I really wanted, but the rest of the year has been really dire. I've had only one prize a month. This month the prize was a £10 voucher! I've put in many hours of effort so it does get a bit disheartening and I keep waiting patiently for things to turn the corner. I do think there are a lot less prizes than there used to be and a lot less high value ones and there is a constant influx of newbies thanks to all the compers who run to the media with their stories of how much they are winning by comping.0

Slow for me too... although have been reading up about Click to wins/mag dailies and thinking about cutting them out to use time for other comps... unsure though.
Happy with my 1 win (started comping again last few motnhs) of a bottle of foundation lol. I'm easily pleased. If I was you brownhandbag I wouldn't have come down from the ceiling yet.
Well done winners and good luck for more! xxRe-starting comping and saving May 2016 :j:money:0 -
Errm I don't count my wins so have no idea how many I have won this year, I think its under ten though.... I've won two things in the last two weeks. One thing I've had a lot more of are freebies - samples, vouchers and so on. I seem to get multiple a week at the mo!!
Still waiting on a holiday win *wink wink*
I don't enter as often as I have done in the past. I probably spend around four hours a week and I think I still win as often as I did when I spent four hours a day on it!! xxThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. I'm probably averaging around 8-10 wins a month (including a fair few 'big' wins), this year has actually been better than last year in terms of quantity.0

11 wins for me so far (Only started properly in January so cant really complain) 3 wins were high value (fancy skin stuff, bag and purse and Disney bundle) I've only ended up keeping the low value stuff (merch and books) for myself though! The fancy bag and purse I gave to my mum to cheer her up (still pinch it when I'm going out though:rotfl:) The Disney bundle went to my Goddaughter-for a runners up prize it was a lot, came to nearly £90 RRP when I added it all up:eek: (I may have kept a Disney princess cup for myself though...) Skin stuff went to a friend. And my sister pinched my ben and jerry's t-shirt:( It has been a fun way to pass time (sadly I have a lot of it on my hands at the moment) I never really realized how many people were into comping, until I was doing it for a few months and it seems there have been plenty more who have started since. Looking forward to the Christmas comps in a few months
I did a few advents that I saw on FB last year but nothing major until January. Can anyone give me an idea on what the Christmas comps are like? prizes and such? noticed there seemed to be somewhat of a seasonal trend for company's to do comps so I imagine Christmas is the same? 2018 wins-12wins0 -
Wow well done brownhandbag, huge congrats!!! Just seen in your sig what you've won this year, that's amazing
Thanks CK1223. I am having an amazing year! Just shows it can happen for anyone. FB has been really good and I have upped my game a bit with effort comps. I do work and have other hobbies but comping is also a part of my life, which I love. I am quite selective too so lots of red crosses on the board. If I was you brownhandbag I wouldn't have come down from the ceiling yet.
That's is so true JediWinner! I am pretty much in a constant dazed state. When I won 25kg of cheese at Easter I was in shock for a week thinking "that's a hell of a lot of cheese" and "it's can't be right?" total wins 2013 £5500 2014 £7500 2015 £23,900 2016 £10,650 2017 £13,040 2018 £10,620 2019 £10,115 2020 £3970.00

Back Comping in 2024!0 -
I'm finding that over the past few months I seem to be crossing 60% of comps as they are mostly Twitter/Facebook.
I don't keep track of how many I have entered each day but I never seem to have more than a couple of ticks on each page of comps!0 -
Just had my first win since i started in 5 monthsDiggyblucomper ::EasterBun0

The worst year for me yet & just gone into my fourth year of comping. I think I last won back in march and it was a small item. The big ones to enter seem to be thinning out
Comping from May 2012
Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help
