Emmzy71 it really does vary, it can be anywhere between 50-200 a day depending on what's been posted (I don't enter for books/dvds/kid stuff so that whittles down my options). I enter a lot more this year than I did last year, I'm much less picky this year :rotfl:

I am having my worst year ever, I think IDeamOfFairies is winning all mine.:rotfl::rotfl: I have noticed that the quality of prizes being offered has drastically reduced over the last couple of years and also the amount of comps as well, the number of sites I post from has halved in the last few years as well.

I did better last year than this year! Although I've now learnt what it is I really want so I can prioritise, whereas before I did enter for stuff that really wasn't needed that much, so that's probably why my luck isn't great at the moment. Lots of luck! :A

Wow, I thought I was doing well with 24 wins this year, now I realise I'm having a slow year in comparison. But I am happy with my wins and I am on target to reach my goal amount. I had a fairly steady year last year too, but the year before I won absolutely nothing, not a dime.

Me and my daughter (3) have a discussion over breakfast every morning as to whether she thinks I am going to win a competition that day, she loves it when she's right

I have had 158 wins this year so not a bad year.

I find with comping you have to take the good years with the bad, I will often have a year where I do really well and then I have had a year where I want to quit it as have not won anything at all only to win a holiday the next day etc

There is no doubt that the amount entering comps has gone up but I think that will tail out soon as well as you have to be pretty committed to do it long term

It all depends on which comps you enter. I do not bother with the very little stuff so when I get a prize it is a half decent one.I am still enjoying holidays wins ( Ibiza and short breaks ) won from last year so this year does not feel so bad. I do agree the prizes are getting pretty small compared to what it used to be. Take a Break etc. aways had a car on offer every week when I started comping many many years ago . Too many people chasing too few good prizes really . You have to just enjoy the taking part .
