Hi, i took out a mortgage via AWD Finance in 2007( regretfully) However I recieved a call from legal and general informing me that they cease to exist and that they would inform another company to take over. During teh call they mentioned that I may be contacted by other companies who may take a large commisson if I went for compensation and that if I did want to apply for compensation I should get in touch with them direct. When I questioned them about what I might want to claim for they cut the conversation short and didnt really want to discuss it.
A ) what compensation were they talking about.
B)What happens about the lifetime service in the orignal fee I paid(again regretfull f this (approx £2,500)
C) I was sold PPI cover which I didnt really want as I pay the morgage and get full pay for six months and then half pay for six. Redunduncy unlikely as I work as a teacher. I did cancel PPI after about a year and got some some refund (£3000 paid initially for £3 years cover) can I put in a PPI reclaim especially as I cancelled it?
Can I claim on the broker fees?
Please net some advice don't know what to do?

Hi annisaad, can I just ask if AWD provided you with an Initial Disclosure Document advising they worked soley on Legal & General products when initially selling you the mortgage
