have managed a lie in, but when I woke I got a second load in and ran the DW all on cheap rate.

I am not going to do anything other than ESSENTIAL flying; DD (bless her) read the signals (code for hysterical rant). She always changes her own bed and keeps her room clean but she also brought in the washing and vacuum,ed the stairs and landing.

There is work stuff to do.

    Morning all.
so far have just put meter readings on line and discussed with Mr N what we plan to do this w/e.
Plan: hoover church and check flowers
Blitz front garden with Mr N as it's grown humungously while we've been away.
Concerted picking and freezing session for gooseberries, tayberries, white/red/black currants and possibly broad beans.
Lots of work stuff to do.
Trip to garden centre tomorrow for free coffees, part for hose and some aquatic compost.....mmm yummy mix!
Need to put a few things on calendar when I've worked out times to get car serviced, friends to dinner, another friend to visit.

May the sun shine on you all.

Hello again. I have finished sorting out the kitchen cupboards and have also walked the dogs, done two washloads and hoovered and swept through.

Just stopped for quick lunch, will the wash up, mop through and go to bowls.

    Catch you all later.

Rough day again yesterday, so I didn't get online.

CY I hope you're feeling a bit better by now; I imagine it'll have pretty much knocked the stuffing out of you. Keep waving and smiling, mate. x

Two WM loads done today, and two dresses washed by hand; Mr LW has remade the bed with clean linen and done the bathroom (including my bath-lift)

One task I must do today is Ronnie's postcard; he's being picked up at 10:30 tomorrow, and I don't need to be scratting about with it at sparrow-fart trying to think what to write! :D

Ronnie himself has just enjoyed a lovely long walk, and is flaked out on the carpet snoring his little head off! :D

    Hi all

So much for my big plans. I have washed up, did a quick s/s of the Scullery and squared up the LR. Apart from that I have watched TV with my knitting. Anyway I'm not that bothered I did well through the week.

  • Hi all,

    Hope everyone is ok,

Good day today, done the dailys, including three loads of washing, HHI, got the girls to help me sort their wardrobe and got rid of two bags for the charity, then after lunch headed for the garden. Mowed grass, OH strimmed, then started a marathon jungle weed clearance session. Only stopped at 7.30 when the flipping midges made an appearance. Covered in nettle stings and tired, but happy that it looks a bit more like a garden.
More of the same I think tomorrow, I'm feeling positive. Xx
