Thanks SC ... going to post my SOA now!!!!0 -
Hi. I'd be grateful for some advice. I'm currently 1 year into my DMP with Stepchange. I've received a letter from Moorcroft acting on behalf of Arrow (ex Virgin CC).
Original Balance £975. Balance now: £875
They've offered me a settlement offer figure of £525 (saving of £350) and my credit file updated as 'partially settled'.
I could possibly pay this but this is my first settlement letter I'm not sure what to do - should I accept this, haggle for less or ignore and keep paying them £5 per month on DMP?
Thanks for any advice.0 -
Hello all, update from me, I spoke to SC today for a couple of questions they had and I'm all ready to go!
They are going to contact all my creditors and start the ball rolling, I've also got some letters to send to them.
My online banking details for the new account should be with me tomorrow so I cancel the DD that are due for the end of the month.
That's it, all set up and first payment March. Looking forward to getting it all moving and my creditors knowing what they are getting (I haven't missed any payments so they have no idea about this)
Thanks to all for the advice so far, I'm hoping a few months in it will just be rolling along and with minimal contact from any creditors.
Hope you are all doing ok x0 -
Hi all
Today I printed all my SC paperwork that I will need. I also came home to 2 BC letters stating that they accept we are in financial difficulties and have put our accounts on hold I think for 30 days.
They both state account numbers and balances. I will be sending these to SC. I'm slowly gathering up the information I need and am like 2017spark looking forward to things running smoothly :eek:Emptying my lake with a teaspoon0
