That's a bummer, if nothing showing on the fault computer, then some kind of electrical fault sounds like the culprit, its just finding it that can take forever, this is going back a while, but I once owned a Mk 2 fiesta XR2, great little car, but developed a bit of a misfire, and lumpy running, had it in at various garages to attempt a fix, none of them could find the fault.

So thought id have a go myself, started a methodical search of every likely culprit, got to the carb, stripped it down, right down to each individual jet, and that's when I found a tiny piece of tissue paper wedged in one of the jets, removed it, put it all back together, ran like a dream !!!!

Yes the garage thinks it is some sort of electrical fault, and really hard to find:( Of course when it is at the garage they can't replicate the fault to try and find out what it is. They said if it happens again to just get the AA to tow it in and not fix it then maybe they could trace it. So when it went wrong last time OH told AA man not to touch, went in to fetch his keys and came out to find AA man under the bonnet and of course then the car started again! OH was tamping! I only wish I knew how to take apart a car!

    Hi,
When your accounts are sold, you will, (or have already) received a letter from BC informing you of this, PRA Group (the old Mackenzie Hall) will write to you, if they haven't already, and you just start paying them instead.
You should not have any further contact from BC, as your debt will now be owned by PRA.
You can negotiate payments etc, usually online, from there website, I would urge you not to call them, do everything in writing, or online.

Hi, when my MBNA went out to a DCA. It took about 3 months before they contacted me, I rang them after 6 weeks and they hadn't got the paperwork through, then eventually I got the letter to say please move payments to LINK. Realise it's a different lender and DCA but I just wanted to reassure you it's not unusual for these things to take a while.

It has been the same for me and amazing as it may seem, I have chased lenders and DCA's because I don't like the limbo  !!

There seems to be nothing you can do to speed it up so just have to sit there (without stress) and wait for the inevitable letter :) !!

    Hi all,

Checked my Noodle Credit Report today and the following are showing defaults - Tesco Bank they defaulted me in March but never heard anything since from them. MBNA have defaulted me from July not heard from them, Halifax defaulted me this Month and wrote to me to tell me they were passing it on to a DCA. My DMP is going well with SC, really helps to have thid forum to read through, the support is excellent.

    Thanks Everyone.

As a side activity, you can put notes on your credit file.

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well.

Just a quick question - how long do payments usually take to show up on overdrafts? SC paid our Barclays ODs just over two weeks ago and it's yet to show up on either of our accounts. Payments seem to have gone through to everyone else.

More fun and games on the Barclaycard merry-go-round as well! OH had a letter last month to say that SC had been in touch and that an informal arrangement would be put in place. Today he had a text from them saying that the 30 day grace period was coming to an end and could he call them to discuss what happens next. He rang SC for their advice and they said that BC had been in touch a few weeks ago to reject the plan as the payments weren't enough. Not what they wrote in the letter to OH! He called BC and the person he spoke to said that they'd heard nothing from SC about the dmp, despite the letter they sent saying that SC had been in touch and despite the fact that they'd replied to SC rejecting the apparently non-exsistent dmp. She could see that the first payment had been made though and was going to write to SC to say that they'll now accept the plan. We shall see!
