    Hi Doshnumpty

Sorry to hear about your situation also, I think goven whats going on, your debts need to be your lower priority. I would start a dmp and ensure that you leave yourself enough money each month so you are not scrimping and saving. Read back through this thread as lots of newbies recently and great advice given re token payments etc.
I hope your treatment goes well and you get better news about your job. Keep us posted.

BC have now started to re-apply interest to one of our CC accounts 5 years and 8 months after our DMP started...looks like it is time to join the self-managed gang;)

We fought with BC last year and managed to get them to back down
How long have you got left for your DMP to run ?

Write them a letter quoting the fact youve been duely paying your DMP and that its very unfair of them to start applying interest thi s late in the day. ask them nicely if they will re-consider. worth a try

  • we can still record on our box however it is only on terrestrial channels it will also not let you watch any recordings that are recorded that were not on these channels such as movies etc. i dont know if what you are suggesting is possible but you can still record from basic tv channels after it is cancelled

    Thanks Bouncybubbles :)

Phoned Sky and the chap tried to sell me the package at a reduced rate but not paying it even with the discount!! Keeping the Sky+ features for £10 per month. Looking forward to saving that little bit extra - every little helps as a popular supermarket always says!! ;)

  • My sister is due to move out within a few weeks or so. I have asked my mum if I could move back in whilst we save some money but would mean 5 people in one room! She's not overly happy about it so not sure it will happen x

Really hope you manage to get something sorted make_the_change. We had a minor dispute with a neighbour years ago that we did resolve but I remember feeling sick to my stomach all the time - it's not a nice feeling so I can appreciate where you're coming from.

Sending you lots of positivity and hope things turn around for you.

I feel sick to my stomach being at home. Like I am on egg shells all the time creeping in and out. I won't go home unless my OH is with me. I see her on the school run too and she tries to intimidate me then too.

make-the-change - I hope something gets sorted for you soon. We had a problem neighbour for a while and it really gets you down. It's not nice feeling like you don't want to go home in case you bump into them.

Doshnumpty - I love the name too - I'm really sorry to hear of your circumstances. I don't know anything about employment law but I would certainly seek advice as to whether they can change your job so drastically that you cannot physically do it. Get in touch with CAB, they will also be able to give you debt advice. But I agree with the others, your debts are your lowest priority. Take care of yourself first.
