Hi all
I got notified today which job I have got. It's not the one with the higher salarybut it will be the same salary I am on, so that's okay.
All quiet on the self-managed DMP front. No news is good news in this house
I managed to negotiate our mobile contracts down in price. We are now at £5.00 each per month for our mobile phones. We were paying almost £15 per month each. Small savings, but it all helps.DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -

Defo the Jetski please, I'm also joining the semi-centurions club this year and i think it will fit well with my midlife crisis
Just been signed up for a post-grad course paid for by work, means I can get a Nus card at £12 but not sure I buy enough stuff to make it worthwhile.
Oh and for those wondering about credit scores, I can't even get a 'bad credit?' Credit card, I only wanted one for emergenciesas the car is misbehaving a bit and I'm a bit freaked something happens while I'm miles away.
Great debt busting everyone.Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

Well done on the job - a bit disappointing for you about the higher paid one but sometimes keeping the same salary is like a pay rise in the current climate! Good news on mobile bills too. I am tackling broadband at the weekend...DMP since August 2011

I am still working on my budget with SC but think it's pretty much sorted now. However I want to build an emergency fund. February is a manic month for me as there are some things I need to get, they are essentials, and won't allow me to save anything. However from March onwards I feel I will be in a better situation to work to finances a lot better and save. I was planning on starting my DMP in April but think it's best to put it back to maybe June or even July. Is that doable?
I will be posting my letters to creditors tomorrow regarding token payments etc... Just nervous about it all.DMP Started June 20160 -
Hi lovely people
Hope everyone is well.
Got my new monthly noddle report today and of the three debts I have, two are now listed as defaulted. One of them I did receive a default notice for but the other one I havent. Both debts still with orginal company.
Now I would love these to have already defaulted but seems too good to be true to have them defaulted so soon in to our DMP (5 months in) Could noddle have got it wrong somehow?
Many thanks
TxMFW!

CCA Update
Well after a short wait I got home today to find two of my four predators had replied to my CCA requests.
MB*A simply replies and I quote:
Thank you for your letter requesting information.
We are unable to provide you with this information you have requested however we can provide the following;
they then go on to list PPI Section 7 and section 77/78 cca act (isn't this what I asked for???)
No refund of my measly £1 (every penny count).
B@rcl@yc@rd even worse....I quote:
I refer to your request for information.
We know that your account is not in dispute because of any delay in providing your copy documents as section 78(6) (b) was repealed on the 31st May 2008. It is no longer an offence for a creditor to fail to comply with s78(6) for more than one month. ?????
They then waffle about the Act and enclose a reconstituted copy of the agreement. This debt dates back to 1997 so I thought the had to provide an original not reconstituted.
Please help and advise on where to go from here.
Thanks XSPC No 086
