I walked passed an internet cafe yesterday in balckpool ...don't know whether it's open or not yet though...will check after as it's only around the corner from my house but it's on LYtham rd not in the town centre anyway...looking forward to meeting you all and a little scared as well..will also be nice to know whether I know any of the other Blackpool people on here!!!!
  • guess we need to start talking about meet times etc

i'll be there already so I can meet at any time.

  • wooooooooooooooooo a week to go! We're planning on coming up early as possible and making a full day of it..
Thinking mid afternoon might be best to give everyone chance to get there and then we'll be able to hit the pubs in the evening?
    What does everyone else think?

  • Hopefully i'll be able to make it, I'll prob turn up mid afternoon, still not bucked a room, I'm sure thats not a problem though, there's plenty empty.

If i'm 100% comin, i'll grab someones number so i'm not walking up and down the beach looking for somebody who's not there :D
    why do we do it,

spending money we dont have on things we dont need

I thought about that as well yesterday, if anyone is going to be coming mid afternoon, it might be worth having someone's number in case they miss us and are left looking out for vaguel familiar faces around the town!

  • Hey all, It's less than a week away!!! HOW exciting? So, we're trying to establish when/where to meet.... I agree with Sarah, the most easily recognisable place for those who have never been before would be opposite the tower - my personal suggestion though would be outside the sandcastle on the prom (opposite the pleasure beach) as there's a bit more room and it's just as easy to find. Then we can walk the whole prom from South to North. However, the tower is much nearer to the train station. Thoughts anyone?
I think for meeting times we could do with finding out what times everyone's trains/cars arrive. That way we can arrange a time for when we're all together.

I'm really REALLY nervous about meeting you all, but I really am looking forward to it. I'm quite shy, think I might be a little scared at first!

    See you all soon.xxxxxxx
