I am excited about Blackpool, but scared at the same time, yet I don't know what I'm scared about :rolleyes:

Take it one day at a time and if next week you are having a good week, then take a deep breath and pitch up at the Tower - you'll get a big hug from me . But if you don't feel up to it, then make sure you are by your PC as I'm sure we'll find an internet cafe somewhere to join you in a Saturday night party!

Couldn't have put it better myself... you'll get a big hug from me too if you decide to come.. but don't feel under pressure to. Just know you'll be missed and we'll all have a few (too many) drinks in your honour... :beer:

Don't think we have any internet cafe's in sunny (!) Blackpool - we're not that advanced! (Business opportunity for someone?)

Oh, and don't be put off by the construction work going on along the Prom - it's rebuilding the sea defences & creating nice new headlands & steps down to the beach, that you can all see next year when you do the re-visit.

And you must all be very admiring of our lovely lights - including Lawrence L-B's Decodance bit outside the Tower....we pay enough for them from our council tax!

I'm looking forward to the lights. I grew up in Grimsby so trips to Cleethorpes to see the lights were a more than annual thing. I'm pretty safe in assuming the Blackpool ones are better than Cleethorpes!!!


That means we're back to someone needing to bring a laptop to keep in contact with the Saturday night party! (and post live photos if possible!!!)
