I'm told by some of the younger generation they do it as they know it annoys the older generation.0

A warm morning after a rainy night, you can get low level mist.
Note I say "mist", but some people over react and start turning on every light they have, probably the same people who drive about in the snow/fog/darkness with no lights at all.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Around here it's middle age and older that use front fogs and side lights all the time, younger ones have moved on0
