sorry to get all sensible at this time of night but I don't think a chatroom would work in the way I think you are describing, it would just be lots of people having random conversations about nothing in particular... like the Arms

If you use it to ask sensible questions you are relying on the assumption of someone being online at that moment who is willing to give an immediate & sensible answer, otherwise your Q will just get lost in the dross.

I may be wrong, I've not used many chat rooms, but I think the forums are pretty good for finding out info as they are.

and I agree with SS, I think a tab would be good, or all members with 4 or more stars should get free drinks every night

years ago I spent a lot of time in chat rooms and I certainly don't think they would be useful for finding out the answers to financial questions.

They tend to be a lot more light hearted with lots of random conversations (and more besides) going on at the same time. Im sure there was one not so long ago but it obviously never took off though Im not against having a new one.

I think the real matter of moneysaving is best kept in forums and general chatting is ok in chat rooms.

lol I can see why you have said that which is specifically asked for a an ability to whisper ....should the recipient of the whisper wish to participate on a one to one basis then it could be made available without having to scan for posts...I know we can pm on these forums but sometimes this is totally out of the blue and some of the questions posed on your pm can leave you a bit ughh...
