Budget Changes for Motoring

Just seen on BBC that 2 main changes affect motoring 1) VED changing for new cars - not seen details of levels or how it affects older cars 2) MOTs for cars over 4 years not the 3 at the moment Can't really comment on 1 but 2 seems a crazy idea. Surely MOT should be mileage based not 4 years when a car could have done…

Hopefully the focus will then shift onto real world fuel economy instead of the (largely fictional) CO2 figure
