Needing new school shoes for 1 week

It might be worth checking to see if you have a cobbler locally. They should be able to stick the sole back very easily and cheaply.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

I would try gluing, if it is a particularly hard bit you (I mean he - at 15 he can surely use glue!) can also put a thin patch on the inside. I wouldn't use superglue, I think some form of contact cement, shoe goo or perhaps E6000 would be better.
Or/also look on ebay for 2nd hand shoes his size in a model he knows fits - worth it for only a week. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I was going to suggest Windsors, then I noticed they need to last a full week.I do Contracts, all day every day.0

I've just gone and checked the shoes and I don;t think a repair is possible. It's not just the toe, it's the side of the shoe that has come away from where it sticks to the sole, it is down to the liner which is threadbare. Sticking might last a day at best, it's not going to last a week.0

Could you glue a new sole on somehow?
I would take them to a cobbler, explain the situation and see if they can offer you a reasonably priced solution to last the week.0 -
What about picking up a pair of shoes from a charity shop? Even if you don't like doing this normally, it's only for a week.0

A charity shop may be a possibility if they fit (due to wide/flat feet).
Can't post pics, but this image of trainers is pretty much what the shoes look like, though the shoes have the liner intact, between the sole and edge of shoe, but it is threadbare.

How about picking up a cheap pair in Tesco or Asda? Sorry just re read first post and see this is not an option. Hope you get sorted.0

My son has wide feet too. He started wearing Airwalk trainers in his last year of school. 'neptune' was the most black we could find. The logo is grey but he coloured it in with a marker pen.

Shoe dye? Would it "take" on trainers?0
