Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver!
I knew a young lady who had this (14 yrs old). Unfortunately it can be very serious if left untreated as it can indeed spread to the brain. She had to have quite a lot of her inner and middle ear surgically removed and then monitored for a year after. It is important not to get fluid in the ear. I'm glad to say she was all fine and dandy afterwards but obviously lost most of her hearing in that ear.
I hope your future SIL is ok and it hasn't spread, good luck.

Unfortunately he is from a family that dont like to bother the doctor. I think he has had it about 3 months and he is now waiting for a CT scan ( not a brain scan as such - dd misunderstood). Fiance has gone off to golf with some of the oldies who are not going to stag tommorow- my OH and his Dad

    Good morning all...
There's 2 things I love from this site...a good stash pic and a cake pic...yesterday it was Tiny's stashes I woke up to and today its TM's fabulous looking cake.
Thank you both for starting my mornings well!!!!!!

Glad you were seen at the emergency dentist calm....hope it improves before the main appointment.

Tiny...the management of asthma can be very tricky at first and there are good days and bad days but you will learn to know what works and doesnt for you...I've had asthma for several years and can go months without it affecting me and then its back with a bump....its a very complex issue which goes un noticed most of the time.
I sadly lost my dad to it in not too dissimilar circumstances to the case in the news at the moment.

    M4rtin....love the sound system...enjoy!

Nanny have a lovely sunny day with your friends today...

and Lady shopper....welcome back ...good to know your now heading on the recovery side.

Thanks for the advice LEJC :A, I have not actually been diagnosed with asthma yet, am supposed to be making appointment with asthma nurse in week or so, the GP was unsure as I have never had any problems previously except for an infection earlier in the year that affected my breathing but wasn't actually on my chest. And he could not find any indication I had an infection ie no temperature no runny nose, sore throat etc. But yesterday morning the signs of infection were there. I have only once when I was 18 been diagnosed with bronchitis. I only managed to speak to the nurse yesterday but from googling think this might be what I have now. I think the steroids and inhaler have just loosened everything for me. Time will tell I certainly feel less wobbly today :T, didn't feel at all right yesterday. :o
  • Good afternoon all. Hope all is well with everyone.
Just back from holiday. I was going to get jellies on a cc . Is it only the sugar free ones and also has any one got a picture of the trigger dole pineapple jelly as I can't see one in raspberry jelly on my computer. Many thanks in advance.
