Why?
I think the IP thing is because of all the spam MSE has been trying to stop, we have been lucky on the Elite but it has been getting pretty bad elsewhere. Think there is a thread about it either in the Arms or the Techie board.

That was what he thought of girls, my brothers got help every step of the way, but I was held back.
Incidentally, I have an IQ of 153, and my brothers have grown up with the attitude that I am worthless.
My kids are both brilliant, both feel valued and loved, both come to us with problems even though they have left home.
Oops, sorry, I should not really start on about my family. Needless to say, I would swap my father and my brothers if I could. My mum was different, but she was not permitted to encourage me.
I'm getting off here, gonna do some gardening.

damn right I am I could have had an important job some where making a difference with lots of money, posh house,
instead of stuck here in the middle of no where with a hoard of needy kids and grandkids, mucking out, growing vegetables, and making jam, dont you all feel sorry for me :rotfl::rotfl:

And as for uni, my kids both decided against going because they would have ended up with massive debts and, in their words, it isn't worth it anymore cos anyone can get in now and degrees have no real value in the jobs market.
My eldest went to Uni and got a 2:1 for an NHS job.
Youngest wasnt/isnt academic, three year apprenticeship and now on £22k basic, working his dangly bits off for his house deposit.
He told me "dissuading" him from uni was the best thing I could have done.
We will see.0 -
Hi scamps, that has just reminded me I never did hear back from Co-Op when I phoned to ask why the £5 meal deal is not available in Poole they did say they would get back to me.
They are bloomin good offers too!
Afternoon luvlies, just back from launderette where I took my really heavy super king duvet to have a bath. I dragged DH along with me to carry it - treated him to a cuppa next door while we waited for it to finish. It's now drying over the line in the garden
TS, nearest to you is half hour I think - Moordown. I have one about 20 mins from me but trying to be good as DDs have their joint baby shower in 8 weeks and I have a little dress I want to wear:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -

Yes Moordown not the best of places to get to from here though, it's annoying as there are so many Co-Ops locally.
Yes step away from the garlic bread and onion rings.
Very exciting they are both expecting. :T0
