I feel VERY privileged to have gone to University, not only when tuition was FREE for all, but students of families on low incomes (like mine) were paid a maintenance GRANT to see them through the academic year.

I was also very lucky that I lived with parents the whole time cos the University was only down the road.

If I was a youngster now there is no way in this world I would consider going to University.
NO MORE HANDWASH GLITCHES PLEASE :D:D

I'm really sorry and I will make myself very unpopular :o

But why is this a good thing? isn't it justifying helping yourself by helping other people? if you are that concerned then donate your profits to these charities??

I'm very uncomfortable with making money out of others misery :(
COLOR=Blue]Who said they were doing this?[/COLOR
You....and others here think it ok to line your own pockets?
I got it as you DONATE.......donate your profits? I don't somehow think any of you will :(
[No, this is a glitch thread, and someone posted about an item that was better than free when bought as C&C/HD.
SFSB suggested that we order lots of these items because they would be good to donate to food banks
    .]

yes we can all make someone happy by donating udis and toblerones, but we won't give anything of our own lives up :(

it's rubbish. that we all subscribe to.
[Where the heck has this come from? Don't pretend it's anything to do with donating glitchy items.
Hungry people don't usually care why people donate, and if posters/lurkers here cannot afford to donate from their own purse, but buying during a glitch means they can donate why is this wrong? Would you rather they didn't donate at all?]

I jumped out of a plane at 35,000 feet last week......but I didn't get a discount on anything and it's the 8th time I've did it. I've raised money for charity every time. and ill continue to do so without needing praise on here.
And yet you felt the need to post here now.
I did it because the place I work for needs funds and I got them.

    <snip>

I must admit, when I read this post this morning I was very confused. I'm not actually clear on what FC is unhappy about?
    People donating glitchy items?
People donating only what they can afford (which may be £0 most weeks, unless a glitch is available)
People being encouraged to buy glitchy items in order to donate them whilst making some evouchers in the process?

    As for
"I'm very uncomfortable with making money out of others misery"

Ok then, to please you we'll still buy all the free glitchy stuff, but just not give them to charity. Does that sit better with you?

Oh and FTR, I think the Baxters meals are a very good item to donate to food banks. I've eaten them myself and they are quite tasty, but the bonus is that they only take a minute or two in the microwave or at a pinch, can be eaten cold if necessary so do not use much valuable fuel to cook.

    It's only a game

Hi gang, I got my Baxters today. I had sausage for lunch and it was quite nice. My Dd didn't agree though! Oh well I only got 10 :)

I also ordered the airwick reed diffusers but sent them back because they were full price from my store, but they showed on APG as comparing with M £11.95 v £5.99. DeeDee said at the time they probably would, and we should know to trust her, hey?

Plus I got 6 Udis to take to Foodiebank. Yay!
