    Hi FC..:hello:

Unfortunately we are not all as awesome as you seem to be..:o

I am here to post about glitches and find out about them from other like minded people. After all, that was the main reason the Elite thread was started wasn't it?

I do not go to threads about saving the world or raising a million pounds for charity or being superman or superwoman as even though they are admirable things to do or aspire to, they don't really interest me. However I am interested in shopping tips and glitches that save me and my family cash that we can then go on to use on other things.

So, I think it is good every so often to talk about how we might be able to help some of the worst off in society, even in a small way. If we all do a little bit here and there, no matter how small, it will definitely help someone out.

So, FC, rather than take the risk again in future of making yourself unpopular here, how about you don't snipe at the elite members and you don't try to big yourself up at every opportunity and you do go on to the mse Superheroes thread and discuss your amazing exploits with similarly minded superhumans like yourself..:D
You're taking too much to heart, stop worrying.
The "poor" wont give a seconds thought to where their free soup came from, or why you generously gave it.
You do realize why people climb mountains/walk the wall/bunjee jump etc for charity I assume?
    *hint* its free.

    Back from my walk :D

MG found a debit card on the street last night so I took it into the bank. The bloke checked and said that it hadn't been stopped  he was picking up the phone to ring her when I left :) it was one of those contact less cards so she is very lucky that it was MG who picked it up and not some skanky so and so who could use it for their own gain

Because they are selfless human beings who use their own cash as much as possible and give 100% of every single donation to their chosen charity?

Please, please, tell me that it is so..:A:A

My thoughts on the helping people thing...

I have not done a glitch for months :o:o

There hasn't been anything I could actually get use from. I am really struggling to keep my head above water and am relying on £'s that are yet to come in. I have to be able to account for every penny right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm not destitute yet and won't need to go to the food bank, which I am very thankful for, but there are too many people out there who aren't in that position. Without people who donate to food banks, there would be a lot of hungry families :(

Glitching and whoopsying are what have filled my freezers and cupboards. Allotmenting provides my fresh veg. Generally the only thing I need to buy are milk and bread as and when. I will always be grateful to the Elite for showing me how to shop "properly". But at the moment, I can't justify spending money on "maybe".

I never in a million years thought that I'd have to wait four months for a job that would last less than two weeks. Never. I'm just doing what I can now to get by. Yes, that means that I can't sponsor anyone for the amazing things they are doing. Yes that means that I'm not in a position to give to the food banks. Yes that means that I can't just up and go shopping on a whim.

Some would say that makes me selfish. That's their opinion. I'm doing what I see right now as the right thing for me. Of course the situation will change next month, but next month is a long time away.

If looking out for myself first and foremost is a bad thing, then that's just the badge I'll have to wear.

Now, back to amusing me with all your walkers trout tales please :rotfl:

    No tinfoil here!
That's a trifle insulting to say the least. Having worked for a major pharmaceutical & seen first hand what they get up to (just for the almighty dollar) then you can deny all you want BUT you can also google and make you're own mind up as to what is correct or not.

This is a cracking 'work of fiction' but if you google you'll be amazed that a very high proportion of this is true. I've actually been amazed, having spent most of last night googling. There are very, very few books that make me do that.

I was even more amazed when I told hubby he needs to read this & he told me he already knew about all this as he'd had long discussions into the night many, many years ago about this with his mothers' friend who was a medical advisor to the government at the time. The friend was totally disgusted it was going on.

It's yet another 'Monsanto style' controversy that the government, the companies and individuals will do anything to discredit. Instead of just repeating what someone, who may very well have their own agenda, or be paid to write, writes then I suggest you do your own research and be astounded/shocked.

If anyone wants to read a book that is a very good read and that also makes you question, if you have a brain, then I'd suggest reading this. Don't rely on one persons review - (mine or someone elses's) who may have their own agenda.

I apologise if I offended you.

The first thing that came up when I googled Aids/HIV, discounted the theory that they are not related. So basically you believe what you want to believe.

HIV/AIDS denialism is the belief, contradicted by conclusive medical and scientific evidence, that human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) does not cause acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).

emm I'm doing 15 obstacle races this year which I paid for myself because I enjoy and would have done them anyway. I decided I might as well try and raise some money for Sparks at the same time. I am polishing my halo right now!

    hinty hint hint hint --->https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/68710710#Comment_68710710

I had to add the line about paying for myself as a few ppl (not on here) have been critical thinking they were paying for me to do them. I haven't done a sponsored event for 2 year. Last was a sponsored silence I raised £1200 lol

i think it was a good budget.
ive done the calculations and i will be no worse or better off. but i feel strongly about people living within their budgets, instead of relying on the tax payer to subsidize their life style.
the point in getting at is capping benefit to the 1st 2 children. why if people want more than this should i pay for it.
plus whats the big issue with paying to go to uni, its ONLY paid back if you earn enough money.

    ps
another thing, is free child minding. they should have scrapped it and women stay at home and look after their own kids.
relax girls im kidding on that one

I strongly believe children should be looked after by those who brought them into the world or choose to 'have' (adoption etc) them but not necessarily just by the mothers (you might be joshing but many believe they should), the best scenario imho is both parents to have part time work. I despair when I hear parents moaning about school holidays as they will then have to actually look after their own children. They are your babies and it's not forever, cherish it.
