You are right henlans, I fear that the poor will just get poorer and poorer under the tories.

However, the Elite have the knowledge and sense of charity to do a little something about it and help the foodbanks and the homeless hostels.

Just think, a little bit of effort and we could do a 10 Udi, 10 Tob & 12 Muller A v W cc or hd, make a profit and give it all away.

On a different shop we could do a 10 Udi & 40 x Baxters (10 of each flavour) DeeDee snackpots, again make a profit A v T and give it all away.

And we could even do a Garnier shampoo shop A v M, make a profit and give it all away.

We can all do it and it won't cost us a bean. Let's all try, shall we?

Possible with a bit of planning. :) How many A accounts would it take. I have two and still worry I will hit the £100 max. Also would the food banks take the yougurts?

Mmm, but where is The North? Don't ask the Government - they don't know
    http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/the-northerner/2015/jul/07/where-is-the-north-of-england-the-government-isnt-sure
James Wharton, the government’s new 'minister for the northern powerhouse', was asked just that question: "The exact extent of the north in the context of the northern powerhouse is not prescribed by the government.":rotfl:

So, is The North where you have dinner instead of tea and lunch instead of dinner? Or when chippies start asking if you want gravy? Or where men call each other "love"? Or where you have a bath rather than a barth? Or instead of a bath, a 'wash-all-ovver'?:D

We have feelds beatwin our howses up north!
That is precisely my point for sharing the information that I have. People here in the UK get so much given to them, yet because they have mostly always been given these things, they take them for granted and complain when things must of necessity change.

A major source of the UK government's money is the UK tax payer. And tax payers are not bottomless pits of money who can just keep giving and giving and giving, sometimes to the detriment of themselves and their families, to fund all the things people are expecting the government to fund. The only way for the government to continue funding things is to increase taxes ... and I most certainly don't want to pay more tax than I already do.

I do think that the government should not let the very rich escape their tax responsibilities.... if they did this, I would be happy to pay more taxes! (I will hand my head in shame!)

    Hi,
just thougyt id pop in to say im still here, although alittle worse for ware.
thanks DEEDEE for the new thread.
been at sharp end of the nhs this weekend and its critical, im afraid.they dcan throw as much money at it but it needs total reorganising, more staff, less managers at the top.i think if the bosses did an appreniship at the bottom, they would realise what the problems are and what the nurses have to put up with.
anyway, hope all is well with the elite and will keep up with you all.
nice to see DAVID and BB posting...and HI to SNAP and FC.

    Good evening everyone
I need some Elite advice regarding a work situation, I have spoken to ACAS and they have advised me to take my boss to court , but I do not want to go down that route as I know my boss is between a rock and a hard place. His wife and step daughter both suffer from depression and are both on the same medication
We work in the accountancy industry, me 30 odd years my boss over 40 years, my boss took on his step daughter because she could not find any other work, for the last four years ,we have tried teaching her but she plays on her depression , believe me she is not daft or uneducated, it has now gotten to a point where I am totally running the practice on my own, while I see each day his step daughter totally taking the Mick out of my boss and her mother, I have brought this to the attention of my boss but he has been told by his step daughter and her mother it is a conflict of personalities, which it is not at all, my boss has threatened me that if we do not get along then he will close the business and I will be out of a job but he still wants me to teach his step daughter, this is now effecting my health as I am so stressed and my hair is falling out , I have shorten the situation because if I write everything that has been going on we will still here in a couple of months My oh has said look for another job but when you get to my age jobs are few and far between I need help but do not know where turn
Sorry for bring the thread down

Sorry to hear about your situation voucher crazy. If I was in your situation I'd probably start looking around for a new job. It will give you something else to focus on and who knows....you have a lot of experience ......there's a good chance that there's something out there for you.

You can't let it affect your health it's just not worth it. Take control of the situation and create your own luck. My very best wishes:A
