Not sure who you are with (I was with Admiral), but when the same thing happened to me in February, and I spoke to them I was told they'd give me 14 days grace before cancelling the policy. From what the lady said it seems to be an industry wide thing. (It also took a few days for the amount to leave my account too which was, for me the main concerning thing!)

    Yes its Admiral

And yes I am still having a worry about it - this is the age of faster payments so it's beyond annoying that it seems not to have gone out as yet. Its one of the biggest bills ugliest of the year and dragging it out is not helpful ...

Self respect and pride go out the window when you need help to get things sorted from the state that makes your sons life better:o
Especially when I've always paid for what I wanted and never asked for anything but when you have a terminally ill child you learn to ask

Nerfdad. Hold your head high. You don't need to answer to anyone. you're looking after your family and that can only be admired.

Glad you had a lovely day. :)

We had good news last week DD2 has passed her 4th year. :j

So relieved as so much harder as each year goes on, she passed every single OSCE exam again this year. And both final theory papers. :T Means will definitely have her back home for the coming uni year while she does her Masters degree.

Thankyou Tiny. Aww that's fab news, well done to DD2. Will be fab having her home :) Xx

OH still being teetotal - I keep offering him the one bottle of bud left in the fridge but he is even refusing this ...

He did open one NZ at the weekend and made it last 2 nights

My liver is going to be so regenerated :D

Well I would seem to be the resident expert and there's nowt about :(

I do enjoy looking ;) if Ts play true to form though we should get a 25% off over one of the August bank holidays. Of course they've gotten wise to multi buys and 25% off but there's still scope with meal deals and who knows what else? (hic)

FC has her own share of "stuff" going on.

Over the years the help given, way out weighs the difficult times.

So how about you back off and leave the lady alone ?

    I'm with frequent on this.

We are all different and all bring our uniqueness to the thread.

I always thought the strength of the Elite was supporting people when they needed support.
