End of the day, working needs to be a more attractive option than not working.

I haven't got any vouchers today either - waiting for 8 and I can only find confirmation emails and codes for 4 of those so I don't know how I will get on chasing those up. I know lots of people have done really well out of this but its a bit naughty of Walkers to faff about now - we complied with the promotion t&c's (well, mostly!) and we should get the vouchers or different vouchers for the same value (and not ones to be used only on crisps - I don't think I could face buying masses more).

when i called them, they could see all the ones i had claimed by my email address, they also checked my wifes for me.;)
i said i should have 4 and 5 to come, and they corrected me to tell me i had 5 and 5 to come. this was on the 16th of july. i was toldthen there was a delay but they were confirmed. hth

I've just been having a catch up, and to be honest some of It makes very difficult and unpleasant reading. This is one of the main reasons I left the Elite. I've only been back a few days and still finding it a bit hard to fit back on. Then it all kicks off again. Yeah everyone's entitled to their opinion, but what happened to live n let live? No one has the right to look down their nose to anyone. We are all equal people, doing the best we can with what we have.

    Good morning
Busy couple of days here have stopped to catch my breath and a :coffee:

My tuppance worth on last night's discussions
Can we please stop the benefits bashing that is not aimed at anyone I particular just everyone who has said anything negative about benefit claimants.
Not everyone is on them by choice.
Not every one on benefits smokes or drinks or has large tvs
Not everyone on benefits has foreign holidays

Food coupons won't work unless government bans being able to get APG PP BM with them as those already doing so will continue to and either sell them to buy fags drink etc
Also every shop in the country would have to sign up to accept because not all shops are available in walking distance and not everyone on benefits owns a car

Now shopping related to om the 23 Lidl have a South of Asia promotion have spotted a rice cooker for £10 for those heater uppers not sure if this is a good price
Also weekend offers for the 25/26
    Beef Meatballs 360g 84p
    Mango Chutney 370g 44p
Curry Sauce ( Rogan Josh, Korma, Madras, Tikka Masala, Dopiaza, Balti or Jalfrezi ) 350g 64p
    Peaches 1kg 69p

Lesley...sadly thats the way the elite seems to be rolling a little at the moment...please dont let it get you down, there are some lovely people on the thread and its a shame that every few weeks tensions seem to boil over and a few "new" posters surface to troll...

for me it seems to be an echo of the election debate back in may where sadly something in the sofa just couldnt let it rest.

There is an ignore button and TBH by clicking it for some of the more obsure users who appear then disappear after they have said their bit for a few days...might be an option...you wont miss much of the nitty gritty of the rest of the thread but it might take away some of the constant sniping that seems to happen

Edited to add...I'm not trying to take away healthy debate and peoples views ...actually that makes for interesting reading but what does get very heavy on occasion is a dominance of the thread by maybe just one user who responds to everything.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend
