exactly the "maths" for some dont make it worth while to work. so the system needs to change.
I'm not a hypocrite and admit I would not work if I was was getting enough money handed to me for sitting on my bum. but I would if it became worth while to work.
    You and 20,000,000 others.
    lol
Nothing will change, if you dont actually enjoy working or you can earn £50k you might as well lie in bed and read your Daily Mirror (assuming you have kids)

YOU either want to lower the benefit bill or you don't mind paying more which is it? Or is it you don't kind paying more as long as it's not going to the unemployed it's lining company's pockets.
If people on benefit get too much I'd like to know how if you think it's easy to live on £74 a week. What should it be? House benefit is just that it's ment to put a roof over people's head and pay all there rent. With greedy landlords &bedroom tax a lot of people aren't even living on £74 a week

Well thats a bit of a short term view you have there. If we could change the work ethic, in the long term, it would save money.
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Unemployed people in Denmark who have worked 52 weeks over the previous three years are eligible to receive 90% of their average earnings for up to four years. Yet there is only 3.1% unemployment. I dread to think what it would be like here if we paid the same.

Long time lurker here sticking my head above the parapet! I have Asda envy as I don't have one close enough to where I live (and I'm not willing to travel 20 odd miles to do food shopping). What am I doing here I ask myself.......well I guess it's mostly for the banter, the odd non Asda glitch and the cute animal pics :) Talking of which I thought I'd share this cute doggie video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxhG8tBNknI
Hope you haven't already seen it!
