Thanks for reply, we have a small hallway, 4 x 4 m living room, and kitchen/diner, so you come in to hall and have to go through L / R to get to kitchen and back garden, it's a small house about 30 years old, hey ho only 2 of us and the cat, we just want a nice carpet that isn't going to flatten and will still look good in a few years,
We got a Scottsdale Twist, it has been down for 4 years and has not flattened but not a massively deep pile, the only thing I would say is it has faded a little in the sun. Bear in mind that the underlay is very important for the feel of the carpet, it is not worth cutting corner on that. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I've got 2 nights to book - trying to figure out wether to do 2 seperate Saturday nights or if to just book a Friday and a Saturday together - I wonder if you stand a better chance of an upgrade with 2 nights ...
We are also looking at London - I was wondering about doing early November when the lights get switched on.
I've also seen a meal deal on groupon/livingsocial??? - for one of the London Hiltons - not dirt cheap but I thought it might be nice
But booking it at the top of the To Do list for this week
Oh, I might have to have a dig on living Social. I booked the Conran, looks very nice, and it has a coffee machine in the room, always a bonus for meHi. Advice anyone please
I've been carpet hunting today, need a new carpet for living room , 4x4 m. ( not very big area, what is the best for hard wearing and traffic, one store said wool 80/20 another said 100% polypropylene, no kids but we have a cat... Please and ThankyouEnterprise_1701C wrote: »Bear in mind that the underlay is very important for the feel of the carpet, it is not worth cutting corner on that.^^^^^^

Evening all!
Just catching up - can someone please tell me what Dove mens products work as the trigger - *very* confused!
Thanks xx0 -
I have just one walkers left so if some don't come tommorow it will be crisis time - I used 4 today, its surprising how easy they are to use.
I honestly think there is just a delay in the system but if the worst has happened and no more is to come - well I think I've already had more back then I spent on crisps.
Quite a lot of my crisps have gone to the food bank and incidentally I also took quite a lot of other things at the same time - exactly what others did as well so we spread the love
I do normally buy a few extra bits when I do my big muggle shop :rotfl: buy a few nice treat items and also drop my fillers off at my local centre. Those of us whom can afford it should try to help out now and again
I'm an 80/20 too and I dare not say how long I've had the carpet :eek: suffice to say it has 6 of us plus a cat trampling over it, it does need replacing now though.
Yes get the best underlay you can afford as that makes such a difference to the feel under foot and helps the carpet live longerThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
