I bet you feed your family on £5 a year! SMS very jealous!

    :D:D:D:D

I've not paid for food for 4-5 years :) I've not even paid for holidays. 3 Orlando holidays for free :) but not all good.. raided 2 times.. (of coruse NFO as nothing illegal) Please remind me not to spend £10k in £25 and £50 in gc in Debenhams for a virgin holiday haha :) I might release the police interview as it was done with Audio and Video when I get it. its a good 90 minutes with me doing about 95% of the talking lol

If you live on the edge you expect this :) its all in a days work lol

About the Holiday, VH had to investigate it.. took them 2 months but in the end this is what they had to consider

Virgin holidays had to investigate this and be happy with the 2 questions.

    1/

They had to check if the payment had cleared and if there was any risk that the moneys would be taken back in the future.

Answer - Money is with VH now.

    2/

Was any part of the £10k from fraudulent activity's

Answer - They have spoken to Tesco and Debenhams and are satisfied that the above payments via gift cards was legal and none of it was fraudulent.

The police investigation ceased the following week. A month later went on holiday. :)

Mostly I seem to be muttering to myself this afternoon but before I toddle off I thought I'd share my good news

I had a huge long FaceTime chat with Youngest son - working out in Hong Kong for 6 months - first proper conversation since he left nearly 3 weeks ago - all they seem to do is work, eat, shower, sleep, shower work ... Very few leave days.
He has had his first moderation and he was assessed as above benchmark and his boss said some very positive things on his assessment.
They get 3 meals a day at work, Chinese rather than western style menu and he says the food is far better than Uk work food, no upset tums through the change of diet, transport system is integrated and very cheap and he has got his Octopuss card - like an Oyster card - he puts 100 Hk dollars on his card - about £8 and it lasts weeks.

He keeps lathering on the sun block but even so he got sun burn on his hands - out sea kayaking - it's over 30 degrees but you soon adapt

Apart from that he seems very happy and seems to have taken to his new life very easily :T

we're off to Hong Kong Tuesday, visiting relations from Ireland who work there.
my OH mentioned about mulberry hand bags,

my cousin had just picked two up for £52, now were having to unpack to fit extra goodies:mad::mad:

Money laundering for a holiday! lol.

Impressive, I do need to learn a little more!

So am I right in guessing that you buy gift cards with APG?

It states on the terms and conditions that you are NOT allowed however one of my stores allows it.

Can you check to see how much you were actually charged for the Doves Minihauk?

Were you charged £12.46 for the three or did your receipt show a multibuy discount of £7.46 to bring the price down to £5? I only ask as I tried the Fresh Awake instore on Friday as it looked like it might work as a trigger if it was in the 3 for £5 offer and it wasn't, so all three items scanned at full price.

    Thanks

I used the Dove men+ Care (Clean Comfort) barcode 683149 this afternoon and it worked fine. (ven though it didn't show on the SEL as being in the 3 4 £5)

Can someone explain briefly about the gift cards? Pretty please?
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

I would imagine synthetic would be more hardwearing than wool, and if you have a cat you might need bleach cleanable. We have berber carpets in the more trafficked areas of our house, they seem to be more hardwearing than piled carpets, but a lounge isn't really a heavy traffic area.

Unless your lounge has patio doors and everyone wanders in and out rather than using the back door.

You would also no believe how muddy footed cats are - mine also like a dust roll and bring half the garden in with them :)
