14/48
12/48
My only decision now ... is whether to go back and put the other few cases out of their misery before 6pm (but there were four on display and no guarantee they wouldn't then bring out more ... it does seem criminal that after midnight all those vouchers will be wasted).
It is such a shame that this promo is ending, though I will be glad to not be entering codes after midnight tonight - I feel like I have been working the night shift all week.

Theoretically someone could snap a lot of codes from packs that are still on supermarket shelves at closing time today and input them between closing/midnight and Walkers would be none the wiser, nor would the purchaser of the crisps
Like I said.....theoretically
ETA: the purchaser can still input their code after midnight and enter a prize draw for £1k so there is a chance they get an error message saying the code has been entered, which they might flag to walkers if they were so inclinedApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Well,I have just had the Baxters out of date chicken laksa and it tasted fine.Hubs had the beans & sausage. He also said it was ok so I am sure the other 6 will get eaten.
Got some more Walkers vouchers today. That makes 19 out of 3 boxes.
Still waiting for 1 or 2 more and did 1 on shopy.Am happy with that.0 -
If anyone is getting the shopit mr freeze watch the price in @'s I was charged £1.49 at the till and make the rookie mistake of telling the cashier it was only £1.00 on SEL Voucher opportunity for someone but not me :rotfl:
Also, be careful you are getting the right box. My A has 20x35ml for £1.49 and not the required 20x45mlApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
I have been back . There is no way I can enter 5 cases before midnight and do anything else tonight ...
... but a couple of cases while watching telly is doable.

Come on then, how many boxes in total ? :rotfl: XxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -
Gala apples 600g (7 apples) 87p.
Cheaper than CBY Kids (£1/6 apples), SP (or Growers Selection as the are rebranded packs?) £79p for 6.
We get through apples by the ... bag full so always need the best price.
Just be careful as MSM suggests they may compare vT 2 for £3 and mess up a shop - does anyone know if they match elsewhere please?

87p for 600g is an utter rip-off IMO! It only looks cheaper than the others available in A because how mean Mr A is and how little they give you. 9 pack Kids apples in M are £1 (they went from 9 to 8 then apparently back to 9 - may vary in stores). They are currently, for me at least, Gala apples. Admittedly they are 'fun' size so on weight doesn't help but, if number is the more important thing... (they seem the 'best' of an expensive bunch at the moment). Also loose Jonagold 99p for a kilogram in M - I try to pick a few of the smallest ones I can find, but they keep putting large ones out in my Ms. (If they had decent sizes, you could make up more apples, except the 6 you would probably get of their large ones:mad:.)
Gala Apples 750g (not meanie A's 600g) went to 2 for £1.50 in M some while ago, so 75p each rather than A's expensive 87p - which really means nearly £1.09:eek: if 600g were converted to 750g. Sadly, Gala Apples in M aren't on 2 for £1.50, or even straight 99p:mad:, anymore - but seem to have gone up everywhere and now £1.49:eek::eek:_pale_ in M. So it's the M "Kids" ones at £1 for 9, rather than 7 at 87p = almost £1.12:eek: for 9 on the A price.
I think, really, we need to be buying from wholesale markets as the supermarkets, point blank, are way expensive. Just for an idea of how much you are being ripped off (of course supermarkets add their own costs and some for profit - except that I seem to think they should add nothing for their costs at all and should make no profit:rotfl:), have a look at this:

May give you an idea of what sorts of prices are 'reasonable' and what you should be aiming for (not that you achieve any of them at present:mad::rotfl:).
Gala Apples in A at 87p:eek: have been cheaper before - I think they were 84p on the last offer, so that's a price increase of 3p and 87p is also a few pence more expensive than A's price on Braeburn (which I assume have increased right up in price).
I don't know if they compare vs T - I don't think they did last time I saw them (on 'new' APG several weeks ago) as T's are 670g and thus outside of the weight range (by 10g). However, I would not risk them at all as the APG result could always change. I'd be buying your apples almost anywhere except A at the moment - I think they are possibly the most expensive place for fruit! (At least of the places that I consider - I automatically rule out S lol:rotfl:!)0 -

Thank you for your analysis Savvy - unfortunately I am not in M regularly and this is the cheapest I could get locally.
Worth knowing the M prices if I am passing I will call in. I don't think any A bags match the M prices do they to get the apg too?
Thank you

are you sure it wasn't the Disney's SEL?... I think there is a lot of confusion between these two on hukd, they are next to each other on a shelf...
