They was sat talking about different places they have been (they knew the names as well!.... my capacity is ooh when we went to Spain etc... and that is me doing well!).
When one of the women said she 'loved the dressing up' .... I wondered if a cruise was for us! lol:D:D:D:D:D
Dressing up in not compulsory - a lot of the blokes hate it. But if in your everyday life you have to wear a hideous uniform all week or most days its leggings and baggy tops while you deal with mucky babies and dogs and gardens etc getting glammed up makes you feel fabulous
Mostly its formal nights but I wear something nice in the evenings anyway - if you went to a nice restaurant on land you would anyway, not jeans or shorts and t shirt.
That is one of the good things about cruises - someone else does do the driving and deciding what ports you go to, once you are booked you just show up on the day and off you go.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
For those of you who often go cruising - Is it me or have UK prices come down a lot this year? Last year we did a transatlantic on Oasis & bought via US as far better deals were available there. This year the opposite seems to be in affect, the prices are cheaper here than in US especially with the return air fare included.
I have a $480 voucher burning a hole in pocket here, has to be submitted by end of year (from organising shambles on Oasis) & we can't go anywhere at the moment as hubby awaiting op & further appts. Would dearly love to go see grandson again - 11m old at moment - but may have to wait until sometime next year. Wondering whether to try booking one now for next year or wait?
Still hoping we'll have a phone call out of the blue very soon for his knee replacement but he also needs his back doing - hopefully injections under MRI? We both need a break.0 -

it all started with a post on "street life". Someone posted asking where they could get fresh free range eggs, I replied that I had fresh but not as free range as I would like and she arranged to come today
she has a plot elsewhere and someone has chickens there but she said the eggs were horrible
so I dread to think how the girls there are kept
In the meantime, someone else messaged me and asked if she could have some, she came yesterday and text me this morning to say how fab she thought the eggs wereI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. This is one on my To Do list - straight through to Inverness and overnight, then next day back to Edinburgh and overnight and then home - main problem is, its too early a train and I could not get the cats into the cattery but if I do it the otherway round Edinburgh first and then Inverness I could not get back in time to collect the cats ...
nothing worse than the cats having to go to the cattery the night before or not being able to collect them when you get back - the house is a dead zone without the cats ...
Well I chose this train as there s only the two changes. If I'd have gone on the 9 o clock there is 4 changes . Various trains and I use club card deals with r s hanky and with me owning a hearing aid ( don't wear it just yet ) I can have a disabled rail card. Wish I knew that a few years ago.:)

14/48

My only decision now ... is whether to go back and put the other few cases out of their misery before 6pm (but there were four on display and no guarantee they wouldn't then bring out more ... it does seem criminal that after midnight all those vouchers will be wasted).
It is such a shame that this promo is ending, though I will be glad to not be entering codes after midnight tonight - I feel like I have been working the night shift all week.

I understand that everyone has a right to an opinion and a voice, well until reported anyway.
But do you think the snide digs that are still on going about food donations are big/clever/needed. A comment was made and replied to (fair enough) but days later it is still being brought up.
Is there any need
Not saying it would happen but how would people feel if it all ended very badlyand at the end of the day none of us actually know at what point someone is at.
No doubt there is something in here to rip apart/laugh at/report but hey ho
I completely agree - I rarely comment on the more controversial discussions as life is too short to fall out. However, I am getting fed up with the ongoing digs too - please move on and leave it. Many of you who wanted to have all expressed your views, some have different views, but keeping on and on is tantamount to bullying
No need to report each other, we can agree to disagree.
