Hi There,
I have been reported to CIFAS recently by Lloyds Bank, they also have closed my bank account thats the only one i have. Now when i tried to open a new bank account almost every bank is rejecting my application.
My credit score is 840+ but still dont understand whats going on.

You will have major problems opening an account if you have a CIFAS marker against you, why have Lloyds done this?
    :p

No bank will give you an account seeing a fraud marker on your credit file, Unless you can prove otherwise to why they put it on, it looks like you will need a prepaid card. you wont even get a basic account. Maybe Santander will give you an account :)

Your score means nothing( not that it does anyway ) when you have a fraud marker involved.

Who said that it was "fraud"?
Not that I am saying that it wasn't.

Well considering CIFAS is a fraud prevention service. It's clearly the bank has something against the OP, Banks don't just put CIFAS markers on accounts.

    https://www.cifas.org.uk/

    Even say's on their website.

AFAIK, there are different markers, not just one, although most do describe some sort of fraudulent activity.

    E.g.
    Cat. 2 "Victim of Impersonation"
Cat. 5 "Conversion" (disposal or sale) of goods (to which the hirer/buyer does not have title) under a hire-purchase, conditional sale, contract hire, leasing or rental agreement

Cat 6 is also first party fraud, could it be this?
